10月1日,庆祝新中国成立75周年深圳图片展在深圳市当代艺术与城市规划馆开幕。首日亮相,就吸引了大批市民前往观展。




A photo exhibition celebrating the 75th anniversary of the founding of People’s Republic of China was launched at the Shenzhen Museum of Contemporary Art and Urban Planning on Oct.1, attracting a large number of holiday makers.

The exhibition showcases the tremendous achievements of China's reform and opening-up through the development history of Shenzhen. It was organized by Shenzhen News Group and the Shenzhen Photographers Association, and co-organized by Shenzhen Special Zone Daily and the Shenzhen Museum of Contemporary Art and Urban Planning.


The exhibition uses 75 sets of old photos to show the different stages of development of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, vividly presenting the development of Shenzhen as a forefront window of reform and opening-up, reflecting the massive changes in the urban landscape and the changes in people's lives. The miracle of Shenzhen reflects the brilliance of the times and reflects the power of China. It is worth mentioning that many photos are displayed for the first time to the public.


The exhibition takes the founding of the People’s Republic of China as the starting point, and is divided chronologically into seven sections,  showcasing the construction of the Special Economic Zone in the new era,   the mission and responsibilities in building the demonstration area for socialism with Chinese characteristics,  and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

From the establishment of the People's Government of Shenzhen Township in August 1949, the "Moving Mountains and Reclaiming the Sea" project at the Shenzhen Reservoir construction site in 1959, the Bao'an County Cultural Hall on Jiefang in 1970, the slogan of "Time is Money, Efficiency is Life" in 1982, to the inaugural China Hi-Tech Fair in 1999, Qianhai in 2010, the premiere of the Shenzhen original dance drama "Wing Chun" in 2022, the opening of Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link on June 30 this year, the exhibition also presents a slew of photography works in Futian Central District from 1998 to 2022,   as well as  comparison photos of past and present of Nanshan and Bao’an districts.

In addition to the onsite exhibition, this photo exhibition is also shown on various new media platforms of Shenzhen News Group, inviting residents to embark on a digital journey.
