On October 25, 2024, the Organization Department of the Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee announced a public notice for the proposed appointments of leading officials. Hu Xintian, currently Vice Mayor of Shangrao and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Shangrao Economic and Technological Development Zone, is nominated to serve as a member of the Standing Committee of the Shangrao Municipal Party Committee.
The Hu Clan Network of China noted that another official being promoted is Hu Jianfei, currently a member of the Standing Committee of the Ganzhou Municipal Party Committee and Vice Mayor, who has been nominated as a candidate for Mayor of a prefecture-level city.
