今天，我们来到了白塔巷
Today, we came to White Pagoda Alley

白塔巷顾名思义 White Pagoda Alley, as the name suggests 曾经有人在这里挖地（池） Someone once dug the pool here 挖出了一座白塔 then a white Pagoda was dug up 所以叫白塔巷 So it's called White Pagoda Alley 那它的故事又是怎样的呢 So what's its story 我们一起去看看吧 Let's go and see ![]()

There sits an alley called White Pagoda Alley
它既充满热闹的氛围
Not only full of lively atmosphere
又有着别样的安逸
There is also a different kind of comfort
说它热闹
Why we say it's boisterous

是因为常常有许多人穿梭于此 is that there are always many people shuttling through here 前往卫府里买菜 Go to Weifuli to buy food 人来人往 People come and go 烟火气十足 Full of fireworks 说它安逸 Say it's comfortable ![]()
是因为它就像赣州众多街巷里的 普通一员 because it's like an ordinary member in the many streets and alleys of Ganzhou 静静守着岁月 Quietly guarding the years ![]()
不张扬不喧闹 No publicity,no noise 它长110米 It's 110 meters long 宽仅两米 Only two meters wide 据明代嘉靖《赣州府志》记载 According to the records of Ganzhou Mansion in Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty 早在明代 As early as the Ming Dynasty 这里便有了白塔巷之名 here is the name of White Pagoda Alley 曾经古人开池得白石塔 Once the ancients opened the White Stone Pagoda 从此 From now on 一个地名便承载了数百年的命运 this name carries the fate of hundreds of years 那神秘的白塔虽已不见踪影 Although the mysterious White Pagoda has disappeared 却如一个久远的传说萦绕在巷间 but like an ancient legend lingering in the alleys 巷中有户人家曾开设过机米厂 A family in the alley once opened a rice factory 老人们的记忆中 In the memory of the elderly 那里有购买大米的热闹场景 there was a lively scene of buying rice ![]()
汪家与潘家富甲一方 The Wang family and the Pan family were the wealthy sides 黄包车往来穿梭 Rickshaw cars shuttled back and forth 歌舞升平 Sing and dance celebrated the good time 而靠北段的贫民户 And yet the poor households in the northern section 种菜 种花 养鱼 Growed vegetables, flowers and raised fish 用朴实的劳动书写着平淡的日子 Living a peaceful life with simple labor 在清代与民国初期 In the Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China 大华萼巷 小华萼巷 白塔巷 In Dahua’e Alley Xiaohua’e Alley White Pagoda Alley 满是种花农户 Flower growers gathered 这里曾是一片花的海洋 These alleys used to be an ocean of flowers 芬芳四溢 Fragrance overflowed all around 仿佛一幅绚丽的画卷 Seemed a beautiful picture 如今 Nowadays 白塔巷的一边已竖立起高层居民楼 high-rise residential buildings have been erected on one side of White Pagoda Alley 而巷子里 And in the alley 弥漫着辣椒调味料的浓郁香气 the rich aroma of chili seasoning ![]()
