Itinerary
Meeting Point and Drop-off Point: Sri Lanka.
Day 1
Arrive in Sri Lanka
Arrive in Sri Lanka. Upon your arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be welcomed at the airport. You will then be taken to the hotel for check-in.
Depending on your arrival time, you may explore Negombo: the beach, fishing village, the Dutch fort or the Hamilton Canal.
Stay overnight in Negombo.

Day 2
> Habarana
After breakfast, head towards Habarana. On the way, we will stop at the Pinnawala Elephant Breeding Centre. This renowned center serves as an orphanage & nursery for Wild Asian elephants. Located in Pinnawala village, it is home to the largest herd of captive elephants in the world.
In the afternoon (after hotel check-in), we will head to the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Built by King Kashyapa, it is considered one of Sri Lanka's most precious historical monuments and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1982. As you climb the fortress, you'll encounter the world-famous frescoes known as the "heavenly maidens of Sigiriya," showcasing remnants of a stunning gallery of ancient artwork.

Day 3
> Kandy
After breakfast, we will proceed to Kandy via Matale. Along the way, make a stop at a Spice Garden to experience the lush variety of Sri Lankan herbs and spices, including Sandalwood, Margosa, Cocoa, Citronella, Almond, Jasmine, and Coconut.
After check-in at Kandy Hotel, we will participate in the Pooja ceremony at the Temple of the Tooth Relic, where the sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha is venerated. This spiritual experience offers a glimpse into the profound devotion of Buddhists.
In the evening, enjoy a mesmerizing cultural dance show that includes fire-walking performances. Immerse yourself in the vibrant rhythms and traditional dances that showcase Sri Lanka's rich cultural heritage.

Day 4
> Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, we will take the train to Nany Oya which is known to be one of the most scenic rides in the world. Board the mystic blue train famous for its breathtaking views of the mountains, lush green tea plantations, and picturesque landscapes. Sit back and relax as the train chugs along the tracks, offering panoramic vistas of the surrounding beauty.
After arrival, we'll head to Nuwara Eliya and check in at the hotel.
In the afternoon, we will visit the Pedro Tea Estate and Factory. Immerse yourself in the stunning scenery and indulge in the captivating aroma of tea. Take a tour to witness the tea manufacturing process and savor a cup of freshly brewed Ceylon Tea. Finally, take a leisurely walk amidst the tea plantations, where the beauty and fragrance of the surroundings will leave you mesmerized.

Day 5
> Colombo
After breakfast, we will proceed to Colombo via Kitulgala.
Kitulgala is a popular destination for adventure sports enthusiasts. The main attraction there is white water rafting. Get ready to experience the thrill of riding the tides of the Kelani River.
We will then head to Colombo, the capital city of Sri Lanka. Colombo is a food lover's haven, offering a diverse range of culinary experiences. You may want to try local specialties such as hoppers or kottu roti.

If the weather is terrible and represents a risk to people's safety, or if there is any government restriction we would cancel the trip and refund the deposit.
Note that we are NOT responsible for flight cancellation fees. This would need to be dealt with the airline company directly.
