DESTINATION DETAILS
Zhinan Village, Lin'an, Hangzhou
This ancient village is located at the bank of the Nantiaoxi river - the source of Taihu lake in Lin'an. Situated nearly 600 meters above sea level, with terraced fields, mountains on both sides and hundreds of ancient trees, it is considered one of the most beautiful ancient villages in East China.
Zhinan village has only 213 families, more than 720 people living, but it has a long history dating back to the Spring & Autumn warring states period over 2000 years ago. Nowadays people can still find ancient surnames, trees that age up to 900 years, ancient temples, houses, 1000-year-old wells, and ancient tombs in this village.
The autumn view here is just spectacular. Visiting here during this season, you'll see red maple leaves and yellow ginkgo leaves covering all the streets.

Friday Evening
18:45 M2 Team Leaders are waiting for you at Zhongshan Park Metro Station Exit 11 of Line 2.
19:00 Time to get the hell out of Shanghai!
23:00 Arriving and have a good sleep at the local guesthouse 💤
Day 2
Saturday
08:00 Wakey Wakey~ Time to get up and enjoy the local breakfast.
09:00 Start of the hike! We'll hike our way up the mountain at the back of the village.
You'll be amazed by the beautiful sceneries, especially when it's fall foliage season with Maple tree leaves all over the trail.
12:00 Let's find a nice spot to have our picnic Lunch (bring-your-own) together.
13:00 Hike down the mountain for another 2 hours to go back to the local guesthouse and admire the autumn view on the way.
18:30 Dinner time! Have a taste of local specialty.
19:30 Chitchat time, star gazing ✨
Day 3
Sunday
08:00 Beep Beep! Yep, that's your alarm. Breakfast is waiting for you~
09:00 Today we'll hike some hidden paths around the ancient village for around 2-3 hours. If you like photography, bring your camera (or iphone) to shoot some nice pictures of this authentic village and its inhabitants.
13:00 Go back to the Guesthouse for lunch and get ready for our journey back to Shanghai.
19:30 ETA in Shanghai (but will depend on traffic), head filled with beautiful memories 😍

- If traveling regulations were to change due to the coronavirus situation, we would cancel the trip up to 1 day in advance.
