《联合国气候变化框架公约》第二十九次缔约方大会(COP29)将于2024年11月11日至22日在阿塞拜疆首都巴库的奥林匹克体育场举办，届时将汇集各国元首、气候专家、政治领导人、青年人和民间社会组织，共同应对气候变化的紧迫挑战。
The 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) will take place in Baku, Azerbaijan from 11 to 22 November 2024. The conference will bring together heads of state, climate experts, political leaders, young people, and social organizations from across the world to address the urgent challenges of climate change.
作为国家可持续发展示范区，深圳将绿色发展理念融入城市顶层设计，以创新驱动经济转型。11月12日，由深圳市国际交流合作基金会携手联合国开发计划署可持续发展创新实验室（深圳龙华）主办，生物圈三号协办的“中国深圳日·创新驱动超大型城市可持续发展”主题活动将在中国角边会开展。
活动将围绕政策制定、可持续街区青年营造、碳中和经济、绿色产业创新等方面，与国际组织、政府、专业机构、企业以及第三届“正深圳 正青春”短视频大赛优胜团队深圳青年代表一同探讨创新驱动超大型城市绿色发展的深圳经验，探索超大型城市可持续绿色发展的创新政策、路径等。
As an innovative demonstration zone for China’s sustainable development agenda, Shenzhen has integrated the concept of green and sustainable development into its top-level urban design, which drives economic transformation through innovation. On November 12, the “Shenzhen Day: Innovation-Driven Sustainable Development of Megacities” event, which is organized by Shenzhen Foundation for International Exchange and Cooperation (SFIEC), UNDP SDG Innovation Lab, and supported by Biosphere 3, will be held at COP 29’s side event.
The event will explore Shenzhen’s experience in promoting green development for megacities through innovation, as well as the innovative policies and pathways for the sustainable and green development of megacities with international organizations, government departments, professional institutions, industry associations, enterprises, and Shenzhen youth representative of the winners from the 3rd 'Just Shenzhen Just Young' Video Contest, covering topics such as policy-making, sustainable urban community building for youth, carbon-neutral economies, and green industry innovation.

Biosphere 3 focuses on building “carbon-neutral + scenario” communities, serving industrial, commercial, and residential areas. It develops infrastructure, application scenarios, and sustainable lifestyles to build a carbon-neutral community that grows with its users.

Background of the“Just Shenzhen Just Young” Video Contest
为响应联合国可持续发展目标（SDGs），提升各界青年对环境、社会和治理（ESG）理念的认识，基金会举办第三届“正深圳 正青春”短视频大赛——COP29 “碳”索，利用短视频传播的形式，向国际社会展示深圳绿色创新实践，向公众普及联合国气候行动及绿色发展理念，同时展现大湾区青年积极参与全球治理、传播中国“好声音”的贡献与担当。
To support the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and raise awareness of environmental, social and governance (ESG) concepts among the youth, SFIEC organized the 3rd “Just Shenzhen Just Young” Video Contest - Discovery Discarbonry. Through short videos, the contest has showcased Shenzhen’s green innovation practices to the world, promoted UN climate action and green development ideas to the public, demonstrating the Greater Bay Area youth's commitment to global governance and spreading China’s positive message.
最终，经过专家评审团的审慎评估，参赛作品《守护“海岸卫士”》获得大赛COP“碳”索领航员奖项，作品团队代表将赴COP29会场，亲历国际气候大会，代表深圳青年发表绿色宣言。同时，更有六个作品荣获“绿色视界·边会风采”奖项，这些获奖作品也将在边会上进行展映。
After careful evaluation by an expert jury, the entry Guarding the Guardians of Our Coast won the COP “Discovery DisCarbonry” Pioneer Award. The team representative of this winning video will attend COP29, where they will experience the international climate conference firsthand and the representative will present a green declaration on behalf of Shenzhen’s youth. Additionally, six other entries were awarded the “Green Vision · Pavilion Excellence Award" with these videos being featured at the event.
