Shanghai Legal Intern - Banking
We are currently recruiting interns to join Hogan Lovells Banking Practice area at the Shanghai office.
As an intern, your scope of responsibility covers a wide range of tasks, including conducting legal research to support the issuance of legal memoranda, preparing conditions precedent documents for transactions (including board resolutions), coordinating with counsels in other jurisdictions, and drafting legal documents in Chinese and English.
SCOPE OF THE WORK
2025 Bachelor or Postgraduate in law
Solid legal foundation and passion for law
Superb writing skills in English and Chinese
Attention to detail and willingness to take ownership
Willingness to work in a team, with excellent communication skills
Good task management and can work under pressure
PRC bar qualification preferred
Prior law firm experiences a plus
REQUIREMENTS
An exciting opportunity to work closely with Hogan Lovells Hong Kong office in landmark finance-related deals in the region. Exposure to both transactional work (banking and finance deals) and contentious work (restructuring and insolvency deals), with a focus on both Mainland of China and Hong Kong markets. A unique opportunity to obtain PRC law as well as common law training. A friendly, supportive and international team.
