民营企业500强，宜兴7家！
Yixing’s seven firms shine in domestic top 500 list
The All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce released the 2024 list of China's top 500 private enterprises on Oct 12, with seven companies from Yixing making the list. This year marks the 26th consecutive year that the federation has conducted research on large-scale private enterprises, and the minimum revenue required to be included in the Top 500 is 26.31 billion yuan ($3.72 billion).
10月12日，全国工商联发布2024中国民营企业500强榜单，宜兴共有7家企业入围。今年是全国工商联连续组织开展的第26次上规模民营企业调研，民营企业500强入围门槛为263.12亿元。

Yixing, Yanchang build new cooperation platform
Good news for BBQ lovers! The Yanchang BBQ Yixing flagship store of the brand "Taste of Yan'an" began trial operations on Oct 11. Locals can now enjoy authentic Yan'an cuisine.
This year marks the 8th year of the collaboration between Yixing and Yanchang, Yan'an city, Shaanxi province. The two regions have focused on cooperative development in agricultural industries, food economy, cultural tourism, and talent exchange. The establishment of the Yanchang BBQ in Yixing serves as a new platform for collaboration and exchange between them.

Ceramic teapot competition kicks off in Yixing
Hooray! The Second Ceramic Teapot Competition opening ceremony shined in Dingshu town, Yixing, on Oct 15. The official list of winners was announced, and 197 selected works were exhibited.
This competition awarded 3 gold prizes, 5 silver prizes, 10 bronze prizes, and 50 excellence awards, featuring a number of novel and distinguishing works such as translucent porcelain teapots and clay teapots with unique shapes. The exhibition will be open until Nov 25. Come and enjoy!

Yixing enterprises set sights on Canton Fair
Fifty-eight enterprises from Yixing occupied 119 booths at the 136th China Import and Export Fair, popularly known as the Canton Fair, with both numbers being record highs for the city.
