（1）“我来自荷兰，过来做交换，我在读博，神经内科。我才来两天，在这儿待俩月。第一次来香港，我挺喜欢的，这儿天气也不错。荷兰过圣诞节比较早，我们过的是圣尼古拉斯节，圣尼古拉斯就是我们的圣诞老人，他是每年的12月6日降临，给小朋友送圣诞礼物。荷兰人的传统使然，所以来之前我已经跟家人过过圣诞。我还跟男朋友吃了圣诞晚餐，当时他妈妈也在跟前，我下厨做的饭，算是个不错的告别宴。我男朋友下个月就会过来，接着我家人也会过来，我们打算先游香港，再去台湾，已经计划好了。在他们来之前，我想我要熟悉这里先。刚才我还坐在图书馆，从早上一直学习到现在，然后我就想我该出去透透气，也熟悉熟悉这里。我正要去维多利亚港呢，把包和东西放下，然后我就出发。维港我听说过，也看过照片了，风景可好，激动ing！”(1)“I’m from Netherlands, I’m exchange student, PhD for medicine, neurology. I arrived just 2 days ago, I’ll be here for 2 months. This is my 1st time being in HK, I like the city, and the weather here are lovely too. In Netherlands, we celebrate an early Christmas, St. Nicholas Day, and St. Nicholas is our Christmas man, who comes to Netherlands and all the children get presents on the 6th of Dec. It’s Dutch tradition, so before I left, I had celebrated Christmas with my family. And then I had a Christmas dinner with my boyfriend and his mother, I did some nice cooking for them, so it was a nice goodbye. And my boyfriend will come to meet me in HK in January and then my family, we’ll make a tour in HK and then Taiwan, everything in the plan. Before they come, I think I need to be familiar with the city. I was actually sitting in the library, studying there since this morning, then I thought I should go out to get familiar with the city, to have some fun. Now I’m going to the Victoria Harbor, I’m gonna drop my bag and my stuff, then go there. I heard it and I’ve seen the pics, the scene is amazing, so now I’m very exciting!”![]()
（2/2）“我有很多梦想，也曾有过迷茫，我想过去搞研究，或者当个科学杂志的编辑。因为我喜欢写故事，我想去了解人，了解一切事物。然后我就想，对一个医生来说，最重要的事情之一就是倾听别人，于是我就想成为一个好医生，去倾听病人，用最好的方式帮助他们。现在我拿到了医学硕士，已经是一名医生了。这两个月我会在威尔士亲王医院，港中大的教学医院，我会在那儿当班，作为医生的一员。因为我在读博，在那儿是练习神经内科。能到一个不同的城市，了解新的人，看看一家医院如何运转，对我是个宝贵的体验。要成为一名好医生，是一个很长的学习过程：医学本硕6年，神经病学博士再3年，住院实习再6年，总共要15年。难是难，但我不怕难。唯一的就是有时很难去平衡工作和生活，因为当你工作太多，你难免会想：我为什么不能多点时间去享受生活？难是难，搁不住我喜欢。”(2/2)“I have many dreams, I was not sure what I want, sometimes I doubt whether I want to be a researcher or an editor for science journal. Because I like writing stories, I’d like to learn about people, everything. And then I think one of the most important things for a doctor is to listen to people, so I’d like to be a good doctor, to hear people and to help them in the best way. Now I’ve already graduated for medicine, so I’m a doctor. I’ll be at the Prince of Wales Hospital, which is part of the university, I’ll be the staff member and work there for these 2 months. Since I do the PhD, it’s part of my neurology training. For now, it’s very nice to be in a different city, to learn new people, to see how things work in a new hospital, I think it will be very good experience. To be a good doctor, it’s long time study: Medicine 6 years, Bachelor&Master; And then neurology 3 years PhD; And then another 6 years residency; So totally 15 years. It’s hard, but I think I’m committed. If I am struggling, the only reason is sometimes it’s difficult to keep the balance between work and private life. When you work so much, you think why I’m not enjoying my life more. It’s hard, but because I like it, it’s less hard.”跟她聊了12分钟，有问必答。我说你很像个科学家，她说哪里像了，我说穿着打扮、言谈举止、遣词造句、眼神气质，一切都太像了，她听了哈哈大笑。不爱华服美妆，心思都在专业上，你看看她的照片和采访，是不是跟电影上演的科学家一样？
