摄影被看作是现实的切片，或者影子，因此，摄影变成了现实的等价物，人们对于摄影的相信，也来自对于这个“等价物”概念的相信。事实情况是，这个概念切割了“作者”，让相机独自面对现实。因而，人们主观的选择与捕捉，变成了现实的荒诞与反常，主观被忽视了，每个人个体的特性也跟着被忽视。
Photography is seen as a slice or shadow of reality, and thus, it has become an equivalent of reality itself. People’s trust in photography stems from their belief in this concept of equivalence. In truth, however, this concept separates the “author,” leaving the camera to face reality on its own. As a result, subjective choices and captures turn into absurd and anomalous representations of reality, with subjectivity being overlooked, and individual characteristics being ignored.
