按|村上春树，日本作家，1949年1月12日生于京都伏见区。毕业于早稻田大学第一文学部演剧科。村上春树29岁开始写作，第一部作品《且听风吟》即获得日本群像新人奖，1987年第五部长篇小说《挪威的森林》上市至2010年在日本畅销一千万册，国内简体版到2004年销售总量786万，引起“村上现象”。

1. 世间许多人需要的其实不是实用的忠告，而恰恰是充满暖意的附和。

Many people in the world need not practical advice, but warm agreement.

2. 你要做一个不动声色的大人了。不准情绪化，不准偷偷想念，不准回头看。去过自己另外的生活。你要听话，不是所有的鱼都会生活在同一片海里。

You must become an adult who remains unmoved. No emotionalism, no secret longing, no looking back. Go live your separate life. Be obedient, not all fish live in the same sea.

3. 我仅仅是感到惊讶，惊讶于昨天和前天毫无区别，惊讶于自己被编排入这样的人生，惊讶于自己留下的足迹甚至还未及认清，就在转瞬间被风吹走，变得无影无踪。

I am simply surprised, surprised that yesterday and the day before were indistinguishable, surprised that I was arranged into such a life, surprised that the footprints I left behind were blown away by the wind before I could even recognize them, and disappeared without a trace.

4. 拖拖拉拉地熬夜不睡觉，根本没一点好处。天一黑就赶紧钻进被窝，早上跟着太阳一起醒来，这样再好不过。

To live in one's own time, in one's own way, doing what one likes to do, is, for me, the definition of a free person.

8. 对相爱的人来说，对方的心才是最好的房子。

For people who love each other, the other's heart is the best home.

9. 哪里会有人喜欢孤独，不过是不喜欢失望罢了。

No one likes loneliness; they just don't like disappointment.

10. 我告诉你我喜欢你，并不是一定要和你在一起，只是希望今后的你，在遭遇人生低谷的时候，不要灰心，至少曾经有人被你的魅力吸引，曾经是，以后也会是。

I tell you I like you, not necessarily to be with you, but to hope that in the future, when you encounter the low points of life, you won't be discouraged. At least someone was attracted by your charm, was in the past, and will be in the future.

11. 如果你掉进了黑暗里，你能做的，不过是静心等待，直到你的双眼适应黑暗。

If you fall into the darkness, all you can do is wait quietly until your eyes get used to the dark.
