Responsibilities
Prepare timely, accurate, and comprehensive financial reports and statements.
Prepare detailed analysis on financial data to inform key stakeholders.
Ensure VAT and CT compliance by assisting in return filing, internal audit and liaising with consultants, external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed.
Manage continuous improvement of reporting and analytic capabilities and procedures through systems.
Handle accounting responsibilities including account maintenance, reconciliation, internal journal input, etc., and ensure the accuracy of accounting records and maintain accounting files.
Assist with the team developing financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risks.
Assist with the team setting internal control system within the bank.
Support the team from time to time to ensure alignment with strategic goals and operational plans.
Any other responsibility assigned by the bank or person in charge of the department from time to time on the basis of requirement.
Qualifications
Minimum bachelor's degree in finance and accounting or related disciplines with from a qualified and reputed university.
Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures in accordance with IFRS.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements to financial institutions.
Microsoft Office skills (Expertise in Excel is essential).
Ability to work under tight timelines and multi-tasks.
Detail oriented, flexible and problem-solving mindset with excellent risk judgment
Strong team player.
Organized, motivated, and proactive.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - fluency in Mandarin is essential, English would be preferred.
