Shanghai is enviable. When everything new happens here, no matter how amazing or innovative it is, it seems natural for it. For Shanghai, "real daily life" has too many levels, so many that even God would be dazzled. But it is also because of this level, richness and diversity that LSD's design proposition of "surpassing Shanghai's extraordinary daily life" is presented here brilliantly.
LSD始终认为,设计不能刻意凌驾内容,且必须承认存在和现实,直面矛盾。设计尽管往往由呈现为个体的设计师完成,但它最终必须面对的,是被抛掷入社会,接受更大范围的检验,并倾听必要的善意回馈。这是通过设计去推动产品的核心要义,也是参与AUTHOR | 中興傲舍产品建设的底层诱因和逻辑。
LSD always believes that design cannot deliberately override content, and must acknowledge existence and reality and face contradictions. Although design is often completed by individual designers, what it must face in the end is being thrown into society, accepting a wider range of tests, and listening to necessary goodwill feedback. This is the core essence of promoting products through design, and it is also the underlying incentive and logic for participating in the product construction of AUTHOR | ZTE Ao She.
当我们面对一个如此先锋的作品,或者说将先锋做为责任和理想的微缩社会模型,我们希望看到的,是那些宏大叙事之外的,真挚的、诚恳的、未被吞噬的人性的价值。
When we face such a pioneering work, or a miniature social model that takes pioneering as responsibility and ideal, what we hope to see is the sincere, honest, and unswallowed value of human nature beyond the grand narrative.
此次279户型&249户型创作,对于LSD而言,是敬畏自然,尊重自然的参与;是不以审美的输出或以艺术性为本身做为驱动设计的根本因素,把有可能的美的表现,退让给真实的情感,引导居住者回归真实的需求的呈现,也是满足需求,预见需求,示范需求的过程。
For LSD, the creation of the 279 and 249 apartment types is about respecting and participating in nature. It is not about aesthetic output or artistry itself as the fundamental factor driving the design, but about giving up the possible expression of beauty to real emotions, guiding residents to return to the presentation of real needs, and also a process of meeting, foreseeing and demonstrating needs.
比如,复合型功能在空间中的应用,并不只是不同尺度、不同规模、不同元素的组合,而是力图打破对“永久性”的追求,为喧哗的当下和不确定的未来,构成“流动性”的生活模式和文化内容场景。

Authentic design also means being serious at all times. The "fairness and respect" in the serious space does not allow a single space to be too aggressive. This is different from the family relationship conveyed by traditional luxury houses. At AUTHOR, spatial fairness and resource fairness among family members are more important.
父亲、母亲、丈夫、妻子、女友、男友、女儿、儿子…一切成员平等。这意味着我们在同一层面对话,无所谓谁是这个空间的权力主导。在家庭性之中同时保存个体性与公平性,这很难得,但这就是设计的价值和意义所在。

The design team needs to pay attention to and integrate into real life, with perception and professional management awareness, and solve practical problems with comprehensive ability. 正如X空间的设计背后,是对世界、文化、还有生活本身的感受。也是关于公共性,包容性,丰富性,和多样性的探讨。这么一个巨大的洄游本质上也代表着一种价值观:在一个时代的特殊时期,可以双向选择的人居价值观。
Just as the design of X-Space reflects the feelings about the world, culture, and life itself. It is also a discussion about publicness, inclusiveness, richness, and diversity. Such a huge migration essentially represents a kind of value: the value of human settlement that can be chosen in both directions during a special period of an era.

There is a commonality between the "migratory residential area" emphasized by Vanke and the "compromise commonality" advocated by LSD. "Migration" is the melody of space, and "compromise" is how to better interpret the melody. There is no special highlight, but it always reflects the narrative of LSD designers - "Migration is interesting, interactive, and dynamic in our design method. It is not a linear development, but a changing development, so it is an important part of our space."
