Dr. David Yip is a veteran in the field of creative industries and media education. He has more than 20 years of teaching and management experience in the field. He is currently an assistant professor and an associate professor of practice in computational media and art at HKUST (GZ) with joint appointment in HKUST. He is also the Director of the CMA Lab. David holds a Doctor of Education from the University of Bristol.
Our team focuses on creative content, emotions, experiences and value creation with emerging media art technology.
We integrate humanities, imagination, art of storytelling, aesthetics and design thinking at the center of all our art and design projects.
We aim to creatively apply innovative technology to art and design with human touch and sensibility.
