2023年，我们以“Seize the Day”（抓住当下）为主题，鼓励大家在瞬息万变的世界中珍惜每一个当下。然而，疫情的突袭打乱了我们的步伐，让我们不得不暂停对未来的畅想，进入一段漫长而充满不确定性的沉寂期。在这个背景下，今年的展览主题定为"Reborn"，它不仅象征着展览的重新开启，更意味着个体与集体在经历磨难之后的重塑与成长。
“重获新生”不仅是对生命的重新开始，更是艺术创作中一次精神与形式上的升华。艺术家们通过他们的作品，捕捉到了破碎与重构之间的微妙张力，展现了从痛苦中崛起的力量与美感。在这次展览中，"重生"的概念不仅仅局限于灾难后的复苏，它更是对艺术创作过程中不断自我否定、自我探索、直至突破的完整过程的表达。

REBORN
In 2023, our exhibition centered on the theme "Seize the Day," encouraging everyone to embrace the present in a rapidly changing world. However, the unexpected arrival of the pandemic halted our plans, forcing us into a prolonged period of uncertainty and stillness. Against the backdrop before, the theme of "Reborn", is being represented not just the reopening of everything, but also a deeper expression of individual and collective transformation after adversity.
"Reborn" is not merely a return to life—it is an elevation of spirit and form in the realm of artistic creation. Through their works, artists have captured the delicate tension between destruction and reconstruction, showcasing the power and beauty that arise from struggle. In this exhibition, the concept of reborn goes beyond recovery from crisis; it embodies the full process of self-negation, exploration, and eventual breakthrough in artistic creation.
Each piece holds the tension between "deconstruction" and "reconstruction": some works highlight the disintegration and reassembly of materials, emphasizing the fluidity of time, history, and memory; others, through the subversion of form, reveal the process of finding order midst chaos. Just as artists grapple with undoing, struggling, and finding inspiration during creation, viewers will experience the power of finding oneself from disorder in this exhibition.
"Reborn" also reminds us that reborn is an eternal cycle, both in art and life. Just as nature renews itself with the change of seasons, art is continuously revitalized through cycles of dismantling and reinvention. This cyclical process is not only personal but also social, cultural, and historical. Each act of reborn pays homage to the past while looking forward to the future.
