About the area:
Opened on May 31, 2014, Madame Tussauds Beijing is the fourth Madame Tussauds in China after the Madame Tussauds Wax Museums set in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Wuhan. It is the largest branch in Asia, whose exhibition hall and exhibitions are three times larger than those in Hong Kong.
This branch is located on Qianmen Street, which has a very long history and strong ‘Beijing flavors’. The opening of this museum adds western and modern elements to this street, making it more diversified and welcoming. The wax figures here were made by artists from Madame Tussauds London and are the actual sizes of their prototypes, who are elites from various sectors and who have had a great influence in this city, the country, and even the world.
