This weekend, we will go to explore the only primeval forest in Beijing and record the most beautiful autumn.

Meet your trip mates
We will pick you up at the meeting point in the morning according to the schedule(refer to basic content below). The bus drive will take 2.5 hours if no traffic jam.
Enjoy the beautiful autumn scenery
After arriving at Labagoumen scenic spot, we will start mountain climbing, taking pictures and enjoying the gorgeous scenery. Given the high elevation and short duration of the frost, the original oak forest gradually turns red in color. From a distance, the forest appears full of red color. The maple and white birch forest demonstrates a natural and beautiful image. Red maple, yellow leaves, and white trunk form a fairytale environment.
The climbing normally takes 2~3 hours, among which we will have time for food and photos.
Return
We backtract to the bottom of the mountain at 14:00pm. And we will be back to Beijing at 16:00pm and arrive at Beijing around 19:00 if no traffic jam.

Background overview
Established in the early 1990s, Beijing Labagou Virgin Forest Park is about 160 kilometers away from downtown Beijing. It is a natural scenic area jointly developed by tourism enterprises and local villages. The scenic area is located in the Yanshan Mountains in the far north of Huairou District, and is known as the "North Land" of Beijing. Covering an area of 23.7 square kilometers, the Park is composed of mainly primitive mountainous secondary forests (birches and maples), with an average elevation of more than 800 meters and the highest peak "Nanhouling" (South Monkey Ridge) being 1,700 meters above sea level. The entire park features majestic peaks, lush plants, springs and brooks, and a beautiful landscape. After more than 20 years of mountain closure and afforestation, Beijing Labagou Virgin Forest Park has become a treasure of birch forests of the natural scenery in Beijing.
