FedEx, in partnership with Zonta Club of Makati, continues its support for women in STEMM by donating over PHP1.9 million to the Empowering Women Scholarship Program. This grant aids marginalized women studying engineering and science at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, covering various educational expenses. Furthermore, FedEx enhances its commitment to gender equality and diversity by organizing a virtual career fair to equip students with job preparation skills, aligning with its broader FedEx Cares initiative to foster community development and leadership among young women in STEMM.

This time, Girls in STEMM walked into the FedEx factory – PVGH, learning from women leaders in STEM and hands-on experience in PVGH.

The event kicked off with an inspiring opening speech by FedEx's Vice President, Poh Yian. She shared her remarkable journey from starting as an engineer to becoming a prominent female leader at FedEx. Her story was both captivating and empowering, proving that dedication and passion know no boundaries!

在贵宾室，女孩们有幸听取了联邦快递两位女性领导的讲话。她们分享了在男性主导的行业中打破障碍、晋升到领导职位的鼓舞人心的经历。

In the VIP Room, the girls had the privilege of hearing from two female leaders at FedEx. They shared their experiences of breaking barriers and rising to leadership positions in a predominantly male-dominated industry.

在另一个展区，女孩们近距离参观了联邦快递的机队，并了解了他们日常运作背后的物流。此外，分拣系统之旅让她们看到了联邦快递分拣系统的幕后分拣过程，深入了解了包裹处理的复杂过程。

In the next area – Aircraft Model and Rooftop – the girls got an up-close look at FedEx's fleet of aircraft and learned about the logistics behind their daily operations. Also, the Sort System Tour allowed the girls to see the behind-the-scenes sorting process of FedEx's sorting system, gaining insights into the intricate process of package handling.
