香港中文大学（深圳）是一所经教育部批准，参照中外合作办学条例设立，传承香港中文大学的办学理念和学术体系的大学。学校以创建一所立足中国、面向世界的一流研究型大学为己任，致力于培养具有国际视野、中华传统和社会担当的创新型高层次人才。

大学始终以创新驱动为指引，以服务国家、大湾区创新发展为导向，聚焦人工智能与机器人、数据科学与大数据、生物医学、材料能源、经济金融、公共政策、人文与艺术等领域，积极打造国际化科技创新平台，组建国家工程实验室、广东省重点实验室、深圳市诺贝尔奖研究院等各级科研创新平台85个；累计承担科研项目1200余项，获省市认定创新团队11个；产出了一批包括Nature、Science论文在内的高水平科研成果。

香港中文大学（深圳）在2023年成功获批三个博士后科研流动站，分别为：计算机科学与技术、材料科学与工程、应用经济学，也是中外合作办学高校首次获批博士后流动站。此前，香港中文大学（深圳）已通过省市创新实践基地招收超过300名博士后。

The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen) was founded in accordance with the Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on Chinese-foreign Cooperation in Running Schools upon approval by the Ministry of Education. It strives to explore a new path of higher education featured by strong connections to both China and the world.
