Hu Haifeng, male, of Han ethnicity, was born in November 1972 in Jixi, Anhui. He joined the Communist Party of China in May 1995 and started his career in May 1998. He holds a graduate degree from Tsinghua University and a Ph.D. in management.
He is currently a member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Civil Affairs.
Career History:
In December 2009, he was appointed Secretary of the Party Committee and Dean of the Zhejiang Tsinghua Yangtze River Delta Research Institute.
In May 2013, he served as Deputy Secretary of the Jiaxing Municipal Committee (on temporary assignment), Secretary of the Party Committee and Dean of the Zhejiang Tsinghua Yangtze River Delta Research Institute, and in March 2014, he became Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee of the Jiaxing Municipal Committee.
In April 2015, he was appointed Deputy Secretary and Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee of the Jiaxing Municipal Committee.
In March 2016, he became Deputy Secretary and Mayor of the Jiaxing Municipal Committee.
In June 2018, he was appointed Secretary of the Lishui Municipal Committee.
In December 2023, he became a member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Civil Affairs.
