2024年10月26日，驻珀斯总领馆副总领事王凤忠出席庆祝西澳中文教师协会成立40周年西澳学校中国语言文化联欢晚会并致辞。协会主席刘莉、西澳州教育和多元文化部长代表杨帅议员及协会前任主席、会员，中小学师生等代表参加，赵洪涛领事陪同。
王副总领事祝贺协会40年来推广中文教育取得辉煌成绩，为西澳州多元文化发展作出突出贡献，感谢西澳州历届政府、各中小学校、志愿者及友人等对中文教育的长期大力支持，强调今年是习近平主席对澳国事访问和中澳建立全面战略伙伴关系10周年，总领馆愿与协会及各界友人继续携手努力，进一步促进中西澳、中澳友好关系。
来自西澳十余所中小学的学生们表演了舞蹈、戏剧、诗词朗诵、歌曲、快板等精彩节目，现场气氛热烈，掌声不断。
Chinese Deputy Consul General Wang Fengzhong Attended WA Schools Chinese Language & Cultural Gala Show
Deputy Consul General Wang congratulated CLTAWA on its outstanding achievements in Chinese language teaching and Chinese culture promotion over the past four decades, thanked WA government officials, sponsors, volunteers, and all the friends for their 40-year-long valuable support and contribution to CLTAWA and Chinese language education, and expressed the willingness of the Chinese Consulate General in Perth to continue to work with CLTAWA and all the friends in WA to further promote China-Australia close bonds in various fields, espcecially in Chinese language and culture education, so as to deepen understanding and friendship between the peoples of the two countries.
Students from more than ten WA schools performed Chinese dances, Guzheng music, poem recital, group kuaiban, Hanfu fashion show, plays, etc., attracting the audience’s rounds of warm applause.
