2024-2025 Spring Graduate Course Registration Schedule
Personal Study Plan Maintenance
Open for maintenance:
First phase: Monday, December 16, 2024, 9:00 AM – Friday, December 20, 2024, 4:00 PM.
Second phase: Monday, February 17, 2025, 9:00 AM – Friday, February 28, 2025, 4:00 PM.
Before selecting courses, students must complete their Personal Study Plan (PSP). Only courses listed in the PSP and offered during the selected semester can be registered for.
Courses withdrawn with a “W” record cannot be removed from the PSP but will not affect graduation eligibility.
Course Registration Phases
Pre-registration Phase:
Dates: Monday, December 16, 2024, 1:00 PM – Thursday, December 19, 2024, 10:00 AM.
During this phase, students must submit their course preferences. After the phase ends, the system will perform a random selection process. Results will be available from 12:00 PM on December 19, 2024.
It is recommended to register for retake courses during this phase. Retake courses do not require preferences and are registered directly, regardless of course capacity (except for courses offered by the Mathematics Department, Foreign Languages Department, and Language Center, where retake registrations are subject to capacity limits).
Initial Registration Phase:
Dates: Thursday, December 19, 2024, 1:00 PM – Friday, December 20, 2024, 4:00 PM.
All courses can be added or dropped during this phase on a first-come, first-served basis.
Add/Drop Phase 1:
Dates: Monday, February 17, 2025, 1:00 PM – Monday, February 24, 2025, 8:00 AM.
All courses can be added or dropped on a first-come, first-served basis.
Special Request Add Phase:
Dates: Monday, February 24, 2025, 1:00 PM – Friday, February 28, 2025, 12:00 PM.
Students can apply for course additions online, which require approval from both the instructor and the offering department before becoming effective.
Add/Drop Phase 2:
Dates: Monday, February 24, 2025, 1:00 PM – Friday, February 28, 2025, 4:00 PM.
Only course drops are allowed during this phase. Dropped courses will not appear on the transcript.
Course Withdrawal Phases
Withdrawn courses will be marked with a “W” (Withdrew) on the transcript, except for courses starting in the last eight weeks of the semester.
Withdrawal Phase 1:
Dates: Monday, March 24, 2025, 8:00 AM – Friday, March 28, 2025, 4:00 PM.
All courses can be withdrawn during this phase.
Withdrawal Phase 2 (Late-start courses):
Dates: Monday, April 21, 2025, 8:00 AM – Friday, April 25, 2025, 4:00 PM.
Only late-start courses (those beginning from Week 9 onward) can be withdrawn. Other courses are not eligible for withdrawal.
Browser Requirements
The course registration system is compatible with Google Chrome and Internet Explorer. Using other browsers may result in errors or failed registrations/drops.
Login Portal
Access the course registration system via Tsinghua University Information Portal: http://info2021.tsinghua.edu.cn.
The system supports both Chinese and English languages.
Off-Campus Access
For off-campus access, use a computer (mobile devices are not recommended) and log in via the WebVPN login portal on the Information Portal. Enter your account credentials, then select "Course Registration" or "选课系统."

2025 Tsinghua UniversityNew Year's Concert
If you are passionate about music, then on the first day of 2025, consider joining the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra at Tsinghua University's New Tsinghua Hall to ring in the New Year. The concert will feature the world-class conductor Sergey Smbatyan and the brilliant performances of the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra. They will perform a range of classic pieces from classical to contemporary, from Western to Eastern, including "Masquerade," "Peer Gynt," and "Swan Lake," as well as traditional Chinese music such as "Jasmine Flower" and "Spring Festival Overture."
