Researching the industries in which our potential targets operate Identifying and evaluating investment opportunities Preparing investment committee memos Developing and maintaining bespoke financial models Assisting with deal execution workstreams and monitoring existing portfolio companies Developing and communicating a point of view on how value is created and what characterises an exceptional business Supporting the team in co-ordinating due diligence and transaction processes both internally and with other advisers Developing relationship skills through exposure to senior bankers and investment committee members

Outstanding academic track record (2:1 or above; obtained or expected) Previous experience at either a leading investment bank (M&A, Leveraged Finance, ECM), private equity firm, or top tier strategy consulting firm

Industry and Company due diligence: Conduct in-depth research on industries where potential investment targets operate and in-depth analysis of targets’ historical performance, current and future prospects. Financial Modelling Develop and maintain customised financial models Investment Process Coordination: Support the team in coordinating due diligence and transaction processes, both internally and with external advisers Investment Evaluation: Formulate and articulate perspectives on the credit quality of potential investments and what defines an exceptional business from a lending perspective Committee Memos: Prepare detailed memos for the investment committee Deal Execution: Assist in executing deal workflows and monitor existing portfolio companies Relationship Building: Enhance relationship skills through exposure to senior bankers and investment committee members
