《The Soccer Game》
“Let's play soccer,papa,”Sam said.
Sam was good at soccer.
He liked to run fast.
He could jump,and he could kick the ball into the net.
山姆说：“我们踢足球吧，爸爸。”
山姆擅长踢足球。
他喜欢快跑。
他可以跳起来把球踢进网里。
“I want to play，too，”Jesse said
“You do? ” said Sam
Jesse liked soccer,but he liked bugs more.
“Let's play,boys,”Papa said.
“See if you can kick the ball past me.”
杰西说：“我也想玩。”
山姆说：“你确定？”
杰西喜欢踢足球，但他更喜欢虫子。
“一起玩吧，小伙子们。”爸爸说：“看看你能不能绕过我踢进球。”
Sam kicked the ball,but Papa stopped it.
The ball didn't go in the net.
Then Jesse kicked the ball,and Papa stopped it.
“You have to help each other,boys,”Papa said.
山姆踢球，但是爸爸挡了下来。
球没有进网。
然后杰西踢球， 爸爸挡了下来。
爸爸说：“你们得互相帮助，小伙子们。”
Papa kicked the ball back.
Sam had to run to get it .
“Come on,Jesse.Come and help me,”Sam said.
But Jesse was loooking at an ant hill.
The ants were red and black.
They had six legs.
爸爸把球踢回来，
山姆必须跑着去接球。
山姆说：“快点，杰西。快来帮我。”
但是杰西正盯着一座蚁山。
这些是黑红色的蚂蚁，它们有六条腿。
Sam yelled,“Get the ball,Jeese!”
Jesse looked up.
The ball wass coming!
It was going to roll over the ants!
Jeese put his foot out.
He stopped the ball to save the ants.
Then he kicked the ball back to Sam.
山姆喊：“接球，杰西！”
杰西抬头看。
它要滚向蚂蚁了！
杰西把脚踢了出去。
他拦住了球，救了蚂蚁。
并把球踢回给山姆。
Sam stopped the ball.
He gave it a hard kick.
It went into the net.
“Yes!”Sam yelled.
“We did it!”Jesse said.
“We did it ?”Sam said.
“No,I kicked the ball into the net.
You were looking at ants.”
山姆停住球。他使劲一踢。
球越过了 爸爸进网了。
山姆喊：“好哎！”
杰西说：“我们做到了！”
“我们做到了？”山姆说：
“不，我把球踢进网。你在看蚂蚁。”
“I kicked the ball to you,”Jesse said.
“You just wanted to save your ants,”Sam said.
Papa smiled.“It was a good kick, ”he said.
Sam looked at Jesse.
“You did help me get the ball past Papa,”Sam said.
杰西说：“我把球踢给你的。”
山姆说：“你只是想救你的蚂蚁。“
爸爸笑了，他说：“踢的好。”
山姆看着杰西，说：“你确实帮我把球踢过 爸爸。”
“We make a good team,”Sam said.
“Yes,we do,”Jesse said.
“You,me,and the ants!”
山姆说：“我们是一个很好的队伍。”
“是的，我们是一个好队伍。”杰西说，
“你，我，还有蚂蚁。”
