九曲巷

在赣州这座拥有2000年历史的古城当中

In the ancient city of Ganzhou, which has a history of 2,000 years

有一条充满故事的九曲巷

there is a Jiuqu Alley which is full of stories

九曲巷的原名叫做冯衙巷

The original name of Jiuqu Alley was Fengya Alley

它东南端连接文清路

It connected to Wenqing Road at its southeast end

还有一端连接清水塘

and one end connected to the clear water pond

这条巷子

This alley

也是有很多故事

has many stories

接下来的时间我们一起去看看吧

Let's go and have a look together

赣州曾是屯兵用兵之要塞

Ganzhou used to be a fortress

瓷器、木材集散之地

where the porcelain and wood was gathered

油米、杂货之乡

And it is the hometown of oil rice and groceries

北宋时

During the Northern Song Dynasty, 

产茶、造船、税赋等皆居全国前列

Tea production, ship building, and taxation of Ganzhou were all ranked among the top in the country

农副产品生产和贸易

Especially the production and trade of agricultural and sideline products

更是周边四省中心

which was the center of the surrounding four provinces

如此繁华之地

Such a busy place

自然吸引了众多商贾富豪

attracted many rich businessmen and tycoons naturally

他们选择在深巷隐居也就不足为奇

It is not surprising that they chose to live in seclusion in the deep alley

传说最早在此定居的是位五品官

Legend has it that the first person to settle here was a fifth-rank official

之后因为各种原因落寞了

he became lonely for various reasons after that

在这里居住的都是富商

And the wealthy merchants lived here

都听信谣言

all believed in rumors

说这里的风水不好

which said that the feng shui here is not good

要改门的朝向

So they changed the direction of the door

改来改去

And after they changed it around

就变成了弯弯曲曲九曲的造型

it has become a squiggly nine-curve shape

九曲巷东边曾有张万盛酒家

There used to be Zhang Wansheng Restaurant on the east side of Jiuqu Alley

在上个世纪40年代初红极一时

which was very popular in the early 1940s.

这里做的小炒鱼特别好吃

The fried fish made here is particularly delicious

与凌厨子一脉相承

which was inherited from Chef Ling

很多人都会在此品尝

Many people tasted it here

使得赣州小炒鱼名声大噪

So the Ganzhou fried fish has been more and more famous

小炒鱼和鱼饼 鱼饺合称赣州三绝

Fried fish and fish cakes, fish dumplings are collectively known as Ganzhou Three Wonders

后来小炒鱼成了赣州家常菜

Later, fried fish became a home-cooked dish in Ganzhou

酒家的名头也渐渐淡去

The name of the restaurant has gradually faded away

如今当我们再次来到这里

Now when we come here again

曾经的九曲巷

the former Jiuqu Alley

已然消失在时光的长河中

has disappeared into the time

取而代之的是现代化的高楼大厦

And what replaced was modern buildings

那狭窄而曲折的小巷

The narrow and winding alley

青砖灰瓦的旧屋

and the old house of blue bricks and gray tiles

都已成为过去的回忆

have become a memory of the past

或许

Maybe

我们会为失去九曲巷的古朴风雅而叹息

we will sigh for the loss of the quaint elegance of Jiuqu Alley

但我们也应看到

but we should also see that

城市的发展是不可阻挡的潮流

the development of cities is an irresistible trend

在时代的巨轮下

Through the times

旧的事物不断被新的所取代

old things are constantly being replaced by new ones

这是历史前进的必然

This is the inevitability of historical progress

但它所承载的故事蕴含的历史文化

But the history and culture of the story it carries

将永远铭刻在赣州的记忆深处

will forever be engraved in the memory of Ganzhou

成为这座城市宝贵的精神财富

which become a valuable spiritual asset for the city

每当我们回忆起赣州的过往

Every time we remember the past of Ganzhou

九曲巷的身影便会悄然浮现

the figure of Jiuqu Alley will quietly emerge

提醒着我们这座城市曾经的模样

reminds us of what this city used to look like
