Naghdi was born in London and started training in gymnastics aged four. She took ballet lessons from age seven and was a Junior Associate with The Royal Ballet School before entering White Lodge. During her time at the School she took part in an exchange programme with the Vaganova Academy, St Petersburg, and won the 2009 Young British Dancer of the Year Competition.
Naghdi 出生于伦敦，四岁开始接受体操训练。她从七岁开始学习芭蕾舞，在进入白屋之前是皇家芭蕾舞学校的初级助理。在学校期间，她参加了与圣彼得堡瓦加诺娃学院的交流项目，并赢得了 2009 年英国年度青年舞蹈家大赛。
