世界针灸学会联合会2025新年贺词

各位执委会成员，全球针灸界的同仁们，

女士们，先生们，朋友们：

　　新年肇始，万象更新。值此辞旧迎新之际，我谨代表世界针灸学会联合会向全世界中医针灸同仁们致以最美好的祝福！向世界针联团体会员、执委会委员、工作委员会成员，以及秘书处的全体工作人员表示衷心的感谢和诚挚的祝福！祝大家新年快乐，万事如意！

　　回首2024年，我们成功召开了第十届执行委员会第二次会议，来自40多个国家和地区的110位成员构成的第十届执委会携手工作委员会、团体会员以及全球中医药针灸人员，为中医针灸的学科发展、科学研究、国际传播等作出了巨大贡献，取得了优异成绩！

　　2024年，我们积极主动，探索中医药针灸国际交流新路径。我们牵头承办了2024世界传统医药大会-针灸论坛，围绕“针灸医学基础研究和临床研究”开展学术报告和交流对话，隆重发布了《针灸临床研究证据蓝皮书（2015-2024）》；在英国伦敦举办2024国际针灸学术研讨会，在澳大利亚、新西兰、马来西亚、菲律宾、比利时、古巴、墨西哥、哥斯达黎加8个国家举办10站“一带一路”中医药针灸风采行活动，联合主办多场针灸国际学术交流活动，促进中医药针灸在新时代的繁荣发展。

　　2024年，我们坚守初心，厚植针灸国际人才培养沃土，举办第四期中医药“走出去”能力建设培训班，推动中医药文化的传承与发扬，举办杨继洲针灸夏令营活动、“同仁堂国药杯”第六届全球大学生中医药国际化征文比赛，组织开展高质量针灸国内国际培训38班次，累计辐射人群超2500人次，举办国际针灸师水平考试17期，促进中医药人才培养，提供持续后备力量。

　　2024年，我们积极作为，迈出参与全球卫生治理新步伐。委派专家参加世界卫生组织西太平洋区域委员会第75届会议、欧洲区域委员会第74届会议，国际标准化组织/中医药技术委员会（ISO/TC249）第14次全体会议，完成已发布的21项国际标准的出版工作，推进在研25项国际标准进展，为针灸在全球范围内的应用和价值体现提供了新的动力和方向。

　　2024年，我们发展壮大，开创推进组织体系建设新局面。我们吸纳了来自4个国家和地区的6家团体会员，现累计有来自70个国家和地区的278个团体会员。完成3个工作委员会成功换届。围绕“中医针灸科研”、“健康传播”、“标准规范”、“传承与创新”以及“新质生产力赋能中医针灸高质量发展”等主题，开展相应专题学术交流研讨，开展第十一个“世界针灸周”活动，推动中医针灸高质量发展。

　　旧岁已展千重锦，新年再进百尺竿。2025年，我们将紧密团结各国团体会员，携手应对全球卫生挑战，倡导合作共赢理念，推动中医针灸创造性转化、创新性发展，更好地推动构建人类卫生健康共同体。

2025 New Year Message of 

World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies (WFAS)

Dear the Executive Committee, 

Dear global acupuncture-moxibustion professionals, 

Ladies and gentlemen, dear friends,

On the occasion of the new year, on behalf of the World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies (WFAS), I would like to extend best wishes to TCM acupuncture-moxibustion professionals all over the world, member societies, the executive committee, working committees and the staff of the Secretariat! Merry Christmas! Wish you a happy new year and all the best! 

Looking back on the year 2024, we successfully held the Second Session of the Tenth Executive Committee of WFAS. The tenth executive committee, composed by 110 people from 40 countries and regions, work together with the working committees, member societies of WFAS and acupuncture-moxibustion professionals all over the world to make great contributions to the discipline development, science and research and international communication of TCM acupuncture and moxibustion, and achieving excellent results!

In 2024, we actively explored the new path of the international development of acupuncture and moxibustion. We took the lead in organizing the Acupuncture Forum of 2024 World Traditional Medicine Conference, carried out academic reports and exchange dialogues around the “basic research and clinical research of acupuncture” and grandly issued the Blue Book on Evidence of Clinical Research on Acupuncture (2015-2024). We held the 2024 International Symposium on Acupuncture-Moxibustion in London, UK, held 10 times of WFAS “the Belt and Road” Tour on Acupuncture-Moxibustion of TCM in 8 countries, including Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Belgium, Cuba, Mexico and Costa Rica, and co-sponsored several international academic exchanges on acupuncture to promote the prosperity and development of TCM acupuncture and moxibustion in the new era.

In 2024, we stuck to our original intention to cultivate international talent training in acupuncture and moxibustion, held Traditional Chinese Medicine “Going Global” Capacity-Building Training IV to promote the inheritance and development of TCM culture, held the “Inheriting Intangible Cultural Heritage, Charming Acupuncture and Moxibustion” 2024 WFAS Yang Jizhou Summer Camp, “Tong Ren Tang Chinese Medicine Cup” 6th World Essay Competition for College Students: Internationalization of Traditional Chinese Medicine. We organized 38 high-quality domestic and international acupuncture and moxibustion trainings, with a cumulative radiation of more than 2500 people, and 17 International Proficiency Test for Acupuncture-Moxibustion Practitioners were held. We stick to cultivating comprehensive talents of traditional Chinese medicine, providing a sustained reserve force for the international dissemination of traditional Chinese medicine.

In 2024, we actively took new steps towards participating in global health governance. Experts were assigned to participate in the 75th Session of the World Health Organization Regional Committee for the Western Pacific, the 74th Session of the World Health Organization Regional Committee for Europe, and the 14th General Assembly of the International Organization for Standardization/Technical Committee on Traditional Chinese Medicine (ISO/TC249). We have completed the publication of 21 acupuncture international standards that have been issued and promoted the process of 25 acupuncture international standards under the research, which provided new impetus and direction for the application and value embodiment of acupuncture and moxibustion globally.

In 2024, we have grown and created a new situation for promoting organizational system construction. 6 member societies from 4 countries and regions have joined us, and now we have a total of 278 member societies from more than 70 countries and regions. 3 Working Committees were successfully re-elected. Focusing on the themes of “TCM acupuncture and moxibustion scientific research”, “health communication”, “standards and norms”, “inheritance and innovation”, and “new quality productivity enabling high-quality development of TCM acupuncture and moxibustion”, relevant academic exchanges and the 11th World Acupuncture Week have been carried out to promote high-quality development of TCM acupuncture and moxibustion.

The new year is coming. In 2025, we will more closely unite member societies around the world, work together to face the global health challenges, advocate the concept of win-win cooperation, promote the creative transformation and innovative development of TCM acupuncture and moxibustion, so as to build a global community for health for all.
