2024 RMO Junior 真题解答分享来啦!
给大家科普一下Junior 和 Open的分别：小四和小五同学考的是 Junior卷子，小六考生们面对的是Open卷子。
Junior Rd 2 和Open Rd 2 卷子前七道题是一样的。差别就在后面的题目；Junior Rd 2 后面是8道题 (总共7+8=15题), Open Rd 2后面是4道题 (总共7+4=11题)。
Open Rd 2的最后四道是需要写出解答的。

As for why 7 or less is not possible, we can consider the following.
Look at the Type A and Type B given. Since we have 12 black, we need at least 5 of type A and at most 2 of type B. The problem is that at least 5 of type A will 'turn on' 5 white squares but the at most 2 of type B will 'turn off' at most 4 white squares. So in the end there is at least some white square still turned on, contradiction.
