There is no doubt that technology-driven educational reform has become a historical necessity. The future learning space will connect online and offline, breaking the boundaries of physical space, digital space and virtual space until they are completely integrated. Against this background, in order to adapt to new educational methods and content, the redesign of learning scenes, learning spaces and learning environments has become an increasingly important topic that educators today must face.
AEEDA亚洲教育环境设计奖(Asia Educational Environment Design Awards)旨在表彰区域内对教育环境改善、设施提升、学习空间创新具有影响力和推动力的项目、团体、企业及个人。通过严谨程序和高质量的评选标准,发掘具有创新性及示范效应的项目、杰出人物和企业以及高质量的装备与技术,推动教育设施不断更新,以适应未来教育与学习方式变革。
The Asia Educational Environment Design Awards (AEEDA) aims to recognize projects, groups, companies and individuals that have influence and drive on the improvement of educational environments, facilities, and learning space innovations in the region. Through rigorous procedures and high-quality selection criteria, we will discover innovative and exemplary projects, outstanding designers and enterprises, as well as high-quality equipment and technologies, and promote the continuous updating of educational facilities to adapt to future changes in education and learning methods.
亚洲教育环境设计奖(AEEDA)共设置八大申报类别,分别为:1.学前教育设计奖;2.校园更新改造奖;3. 校园建筑设计奖;4.学习空间设计奖;5.校园总体规划奖;6.校园景观环境设计奖;7. 智慧校园装备与科技奖;8. 人物与企业奖;每个大类又根据使用者年龄、建筑用途、空间功能设置若个子项奖. 每个类别设置金奖、银奖、优秀奖三个奖项(企业和设计师除外),奖项数量根据申报总数按比例设置。
The AEEDA Award has eight application categories, namely: 1. Preschool Education Design Award; 2. Campus Renewal Award; 3. Campus Building Design Award; 4. Learning Space Design Award; 5. Campus Master Planning Award; 6. Campus Landscape Environment Design Award; 7. Smart Campus Equipment and Technology Award; 8. People and Enterprise Award; Each category has several sub-awards according to the age of users, building use, and space function. Each category has three awards: Gold Award, Silver Award, and Excellence Award (except for enterprises and designers), and the number of awards is set in proportion to the total number of applications.
亚洲教育环境设计奖(AEEDA)评选分为申报、初评和终评三个阶段。初评阶段决定参选是否入围,终评阶段由国内外知名专家组成的评审团,对入围作品进行评选,最终角逐出各个类别的金奖、银奖。
The AEEDA selection is divided into three stages: application, initial evaluation and final judging. In the initial evaluation stage, it is determined whether the applications are shortlisted. In the final judging stage, the jury will select gold winners and silver winners from the shortlist.
1.以上设施包括新建或加建,改造或适应性再利用及修复项目,已完工的项目必须在2025年4月份之前的6年内完成。
2.在建或中标但未开工的项目,也可参与申报。获奖后,获奖证书将标注“在建或方案阶段”字样。
3. 已获得“2022-2023年度亚洲教育环境设计奖”金、银、优秀奖的申报项目,不能再次申报本届奖项。
■Notes:
1.The above facilities include new construction, addition project, renovation, adaptive reuse, restoration project, and project-in-progress. All projects must have been completed within 6 years prior to April 2025.
2. Projects that are under construction or have won the bid but have not started construction can also participate in the application. After winning the award, the award certificate will be marked with the words "under construction or in theScheme design stage".
3. Projects that have won the gold, silver, or excellence award of the "2022-2023 Asian Education Environment Design Award" cannot apply for this award again.
“AEEDA亚洲教育环境设计奖”评审团由国内外教育环境设计专家、老师、教育学者和专业媒体人士共同组成,能够从多个维度对申报项目进行客观、公正的评价。
The jury of the AEEDA is composed of domestic and foreign educational environment design experts, teachers, educational scholars and media professionals, and can make objective and fair evaluations of the application projects from multiple dimensions.
1. 支持未来学习:设计支持塑造学生体验和加强学术活动的现代教学实践方式;
Supporting future learning: the manner in which the design supports modern pedagogical practices that shape the student experience and enhance academic activities.
2. 成长与福祉:空间设计及材料使用,有利于师生身心健康和促进学生生长发育;
Growth and Wellness: The space design and the use of materials are conducive to the physical and mental health of teachers and students and promote the growth and development of students.
3. 革新性:通过使用创新的、动态的和强化使用者的建筑或场地解决方案,完成的设计在很大程度上实现了项目目标。
Innovation: the extent in which the finished design fulfilled project goals by use of innovative, dynamic, and occupant enhancing building or site solutions.
4. 可持续性:项目如何达到现代能源和环境设计的期望?采用了哪些可持续建筑实践?获得了哪些绿色建筑认证?设计是否支持与自然的联系?
Sustainability: How does the project live up to modern energy and environmental design expectations? What sustainable building practices did it employ? what green building certification did it receive? does the design support a connection to nature?
5. 室内空间:室内设计元素(颜色、纹理、艺术、灯光、声学)如何丰富建筑环境?并与使用者年龄、空间功能和建筑本身相适应。室内空间所具有得适应性和灵活性,如何支持学习活动和教学方式。
Interiors: how interior design elements (color, texture, art, lighting, acoustics) enrich the built environment; are applicable to the user’s age and or space function and building. The adaptability and flexibility of the interior space, how to support learning activities and teaching methods.
6. 社区需求:设计如何展示灵活性和适应性以满足社区的需求。设计是否适合当地人口、场地位置以及解决与安全、公平、多样性和包容性相关的问题?
Community needs: how does the design demonstrate flexibility and adaptation to meet the community’s needs. Is the design appropriate for the local population demographic, the site location, and addressing issues related to safety, equity, diversity, and inclusivity?
7. 校园景观环境设计奖主要从整体规划、场地设计、功能性、场所精神、生态性、可持续发展、可玩性等层面进行评分;
The campus landscape environment design award is mainly scored from the aspects of overall planning, site design, functionality, site spirit, ecology, sustainable development, and playability.
8. 智慧校园装备与科技奖的评价标准包括:助力学习效率提升,增进教育空间灵活性与适应性;改善教育环境质量,提升设施安全与管理效率及防灾能力;
The evaluation criteria for Smart Campus E&T Awards include: helping to improve learning efficiency, enhancing the flexibility and adaptability of educational spaces; improving the quality of the educational environment, improving facility safety and management efficiency, and disaster prevention capabilities.
1. 金奖数量不高于入围数量的20%,银奖不高于入围数量35%。
The number of gold awards shall not exceed 20% of the number of shortlisted entries; the number of silver awards shall not exceed 35% of the number of shortlisted entries.
2. 金奖分值为80-90分,银奖分值为70-80分。每个项目去掉最高分值和最低分值后,取其平均分。
The gold award is worth 80-90 points, and the silver award is worth 70-80 points. After removing the highest and lowest scores for each project, the average score is taken.
3. 学前教育设施因其在规模、尺度和使用人群方面与其他教育设施存在巨大差异,因此,所有申报“学前教育设计奖”的项目将单独进行评审,不与其他教育设施横向比较。
Preschool education facilities are very different from other educational facilities in terms of scale, size and user groups. Therefore, all projects applying for the "Preschool Education Design Award" will be evaluated individually and will not be compared horizontally with other educational facilities.
4. 所有申报项目在评审过程中,均采用匿名的方式,项目设计单位、主创团队名称均不在评审资料中体现。
All application projects will be anonymous during the review process, and the names of the project design units and main creative teams will not be reflected in the review materials.

2022-2023年度"AEEDA亚洲教育环境设计奖”为首届举办,征集发布后反响热烈,两轮申报共收到参赛项目326件,最终入围247个项目参与金、银奖角逐。经评审团评定,其中36个项目获得金奖,54个项目获得银奖。组委会于2023年6月在上海为获奖项目举办了隆重的颁奖仪式。
