I'm a visual artist that has been working in Jingdezhen for almost three years

And I've been coming and forth in Jingdezhen for almost six years also

but it was until 2022

that I decided to move to Jingdezhen

The Spanish mouth here

Why is so high

Because so small the hole in it
因为上面的洞太小了
Because it's very specific and much more easy to pour it
因为这个独特的（设计）使它更容易倒出来水
We make the way how it water gonna pour
我们做了一个如何让水更好地倾倒(的方式）
the direction of it is much larger
它的角度设计的更大水不会直接掉下来
it doesn't fall directly
水不会直接掉下来
We make an arc
我们划出一道弧线
and so will be much more easy to drink it directly from your mouth
所以会更容易直接从嘴里喝
Now holding it from here bump
现在从这里拿着它的手柄
the pot will be much larger and here that's what I change as well
壶会大很多这也是我创新的一点
So the way of pouring tea to the cup because now we don't drink it directly but we drink it directly to our cup
所以（现在形成了）往杯子里倒茶的方式，因为现在我们不直饮，我们对着杯子直接喝
Blend those functionalities according to the tea ceremony of China
结合中国茶道来融合这些功能
It's a nice blend of the two cultures
这是两种文化的完美融合
For one side we have the body that can remind you to the Spanish picture and then the whole decoration is very chinese
我们的壶身这会让你想起西班牙的画面,整个的装饰又很中式
Even the whole handle is decorated with this motive
and is associated with good luck and so on
甚至整个手柄都是这个主题并且与好运等有关
So that's a nice example of how we blend culture also in ceramic

First a draw it here on paper now you see in the here in the ceramic

Chinese culture specifically Chinese ceramic culture
with the Spanish ceramic culture

I did this language to create

whether is on paper whether is in ceramic

a visual landscape of my own narrative

It's always been kind of my dream

I also coming to Jingdezhen before
我之前来过景德镇
I didn't know exactly where to put in the map
我不知道在地图上什么位置
Friends used to ask me what are you gonna do in China
朋友们常问我 你打算在中国做什么？
First go to Jingdezhen
（他们说）先去景德镇
I didn't know where Jingdezhen were about
我不知道景德镇在哪里
Go to Jingdezhen and see those works and because it's part of my work
（他们说）去景德镇看看那些作品，因为这是我的工作
If you look at the history of Spain and the ceramic glaze
and the decoration has a lot of influence
from the Middle East but also China
如果你看看西班牙的历史还有陶瓷釉，他们的装饰受到很多中东的影响当然还有中国
You bring it to many places the reaction of the customers always like
当你把（作品）带到很多地方，顾客的反应总是喜欢
It's so surprising for them for them
这对他们来说太令人惊讶了
For me it was kind of a natural way to blend the two worlds
对我来说，这是一种融合世界的自然方式
but when you're in just one side of the place maybe it's more difficult to see them
但当你只在一个地方的一边也许更难看清这些
Now I'm going to be here so I really happy with it
现在我在这里，所以我真的很高兴
