AI活动 | 关于举办2025年华东师范大学国际优秀中学生智能机器人冬令营的通知

为充分发现并培养未来科技创新人才，推动智能制造、人工智能等产业发展和国际合作，华东师范大学软件工程学院（滴水湖国际软件学院）将于1月19日至24日期间举办国际优秀中学生智能机器人冬令营活动。

To identify and cultivate future talents in scientific and technological innovation, and to drive the development of smart manufacturing, Artificial Intelligence, and other industries while promoting international cooperation, the Software Engineering Institute of East China Normal University (Dishui Lake International Software Engineering Institute) will host the 2025 Winter School on Intelligent Robotics for outstanding international junior high school and high school students from January 19 to 24, 2025.

人工智能（AI）和机器人技术是当今科技发展的两大重要领域，已成为世界强国重点发展的产业，是衡量一个国家科技创新的重要标志，是全面融入国计民生的重要支撑技术。培育该领域新工科人才已成为国家教育的重要部署。

华东师范大学软件工程学院成立于2002年，是国家首批35所示范性软件学院之一，2020年再次入选首批特色化示范性软件学院。软件工程学科在教育部最新学科评估中位列A档，2020、2021、2022年软科中国最好学科排名连续三年位列第二，2023、2024年连续排名第一。2024年与临港新片区管委会、港城集团共建滴水湖国际软件学院，开始产教融合新探索。

华东师范大学较早开展机器人操作系统相关教学，2015年最早发起举办全国机器人操作系统（ROS）暑期学校，与国内外同行共同推进机器人操作系统ROS在中国的普及与产业应用，至今已经10届，共有近500所高校，上万名本科生、硕士、博士生参加。

本次冬令营是华东师范大学为国内外中学生打造的工科实践提升平台。为期五天的冬令营活动，营员将在海内外导师组指导下进行系统的机器人知识学习，让更多对机器人感兴趣、有志于投身智能机器人领域的学生提前认知机器人设计研发过程，为未来的学习深造及科学探索打下基础。

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and robotics are two critical areas of today’s scientific and technological advancements. They have become key industries for global powerhouses, serving as significant indicators of a country’s technological innovation, and are vital enablers of national economic growth and societal development. Cultivating the next generation of engineering talent in these fields has become a strategic priority in national education initiatives.

The Software Engineering Institute of East China Normal University (ECNU), founded in 2002, is one of the first 35 Demonstration Software Institutes in the country. In 2020, it was selected as one of the first batch of Characteristic Demonstration Software Schools. The Software Engineering discipline at ECNU is rated A-tier in the latest Ministry of Education’s discipline evaluation and securing 2nd place in the Soft Science China Best Discipline Rankings for three consecutive years (2020–2022), before rising to 1st place in 2023 and 2024. In 2024, ECNU collaborated with the Lin-gang Special Area management committee and the Harbour City Group to establish the Dishui Lake International Software Engineering Institute to initiate exploration on the integration between education and industry.

Since 2015, ECNU has been at the forefront of promoting Robot Operating System (ROS) through its National ROS Summer School, an initiative aimed at popularizing ROS and advancing its industrial applications across China. Over the past 10 years, the program has engaged close to 500 universities, and trained tens of thousands of undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students.

The Winter School on Intelligent Robotics is an engineering-centric hands-on platform crafted by ECNU for junior high school and high school students, both local and international. Over the course of five days, participants will systematically learn robotics under the guidance of experienced international tutors. The program is designed to help students passionate about robotics and interested in joining the industry to gain foundational knowledge, understand the robot design and development process, and build a solid groundwork for future studies and scientific exploration.

Rosen Bridge, a Singapore-based company, is led by a core team originating from the Nanyang Technological University and the Robotics and Automation Research Laboratory of Singapore University of Technology and Design. With strong academic foundations and extensive practical expertise in robotics, Artificial Intelligence, and education, the team collaborates closely with esteemed institutions such as the Singapore University of Technology and Design, Zhejiang University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University Chongqing Research Institute, KUC Malaysia, and the Malaysia Robotics & Automation Society. Together, they have successfully organized high-level events and activities, including RoboRoarZ Singapore and international summer camps for outstanding high school students. Rosen Bridge is dedicated to discovering and cultivating exceptional talent in science and technology.

(1) Possesses strong interest in Information Systems/ Computer Science related majors, forward thinking, ambitious, a strong sense of social responsibility, physically and mentally healthy.

(2) Well rounded, excellent academic performance, good foreign language proficiency, and strong hands-on ability.

(3) Strong demonstrated interest in the field of robotics. Accomplishments in robotics, information systems and other related competitions will be advantageous.

本课程体系结合了前沿的人工智能机器人技术，围绕理论学习与实践操作相结合的原则，分为五天逐步推进。内容涵盖机器人基础概念、Linux与Python在机器人中的应用，进而深入学习ROS2机器人操作系统与机器人智能导航实践。此外，课程还融入了文化交流活动与小组答辩，帮助学员在知识学习的同时，提升团队合作和表达能力，在专业导师的引领下，全面提升学生对AI与机器人领域的理解和应用能力。

The curriculum encompasses cutting-edge AI and robotics technologies through a combination of theory lessons and hands-on practice over five days. The content covers foundational robotics concepts, applications of Linux and Python in robotics, and delves into advanced topics such as ROS2 and robot autonomous navigation. Additionally, there will be cultural activities, group presentations, and demonstrations to enhance teamwork and communication skills. Under the guidance of professional mentors, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of, and practical skills in, the field of AI and robotics.

▲冬令营将根据人数设置一定比例的奖学金名额，一等奖8000元，二等奖5000元，三等奖3000元。

· If the participants pass the Winter School final assessment, they will be issued certificates and transcripts from the National Software Talent International Training Base (Shanghai) and Dishui Lake International Software Engineering Institute of ECNU.

· The Winter School will allocate a certain number of scholarships based on the number of participants. The first prize is 8,000 yuan, the second prize is 5,000 yuan, and the third prize is 3,000 yuan.

· Outstanding participants will be invited to the APAI Asia Pacific Artificial Intelligence Youth Technology Innovation Competition.

▲活动费用：15000元/人。费用包括住宿费、餐饮费、授课费、活动费、资料费、保险费以及可能产生的参观费用；

▲退费说明：如成功报名后因个人原因取消行程，1月5日（含）前退出退还100%活动费用；1月6日-13日（含）退出，退还60%活动费用；1月14日及以后退出，则无法退款；若不成团或因不可抗力因素取消，全额退款。

·Activity fee: 15000 yuan/person. The fees cover accommodation, food, course fees, activity fees, material fees, insurance fees and ticketing fees;

·Refund instructions: If participation is withdrawn due to personal reasons after successful registration, 100% of the activity fee will be refunded for withdrawals before 5th January inclusive; 60% of the activity fee will be refunded for withdrawals from 6th to 13th January inclusive; and no refunds will be given for withdrawals from 14th January onwards. In the event that Winter School is cancelled due to insufficient participation or force majeure, a full refund will be given.

张新宇，华东师范大学软件工程学院教授、博士生导师，智能机器人运动与视觉实验室主任，中国ROS（机器人操作系统）暑期学校创始人，ROSCon China 2024（ROS开发者大会）大会主席，担任中国高校智能机器人创意大赛等多个机器人竞赛指导专家或评委。

Zhang Xinyu, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of Software Engineering Institute, ECNU, Director of Intelligent Robot Motion and Vision Laboratory, founder of China ROS (Robot Operating System) Summer School, President of ROSCon China 2024 (ROS Developer Conference). Served as the expert advisor and judge of various robot competitions such as the Intelligent Robot Creative Competition of Chinese Universities.

Ricardo Tellez, Universität Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) PhD, Artificial Intelligence. CEO of The Construct. The Construct is a company focused on ROS technology development and application, with a strong team of experts and engineers in the field of ROS. Ricardo Tellez has a solid academic background in robotics, computer science, and Artificial Intelligence, with 15 years of experience building software for ROS-based robots, including human-sized humanoid robots. His research focuses on robot perception, control, and Artificial Intelligence applications, and is committed to applying advanced robotics to complex problems in the real world.

Moo Chee Gen，曾在知名日企及台企担任电气工程师与设备工程师，在新加坡科技与设计大学（Singapore University of Technology and Design）担任研究员，专注于人工智能与机器人设计开发领域，主导并成功完成多项新加坡国家机器人研发项目，后联合创办RosenBridge Singapore并担任CEO，致力于推动AI机器人教育与工业界的衔接。

Moo Chee Gen, previously worked as an Electrical Engineer and Equipment Engineer at renowned Japanese and Taiwanese enterprises. He later served as a Researcher at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), specializing in Artificial Intelligence and robotics design and development, where he led and successfully completed multiple national robotics research and development projects in Singapore. He subsequently co-founded Rosen Bridge Singapore and currently serves as its CEO, dedicated to bridging AI robotics education with industry applications.

Cheng Ruo Xi，毕业于新加坡科技与设计大学（Singapore University of Technology and Design）计算机科学与设计系。毕业后留校担任机器人实验室ROAR LAB研究员，专注于人工智能与机器人设计与开发。后联合创办RosenBridge Singapore并担任执行董事。

Cheng Ruo Xi, graduated from the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) with a degree in Computer Science and Design. She then joined SUTD Robotics and Automation Research Laboratory (ROAR LAB) as a Researcher, where she specialized in Artificial Intelligence and robotics design and development. She later co-founded Rosen Bridge Singapore and currently serves as the Executive Director of the company.
