She led the team to achieve breakthroughs in the “National College Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship Challenge” and won the provincial first and third prizes in both regular and practical tracks of the competition, achieving a breakthrough in this competition in WZBC.

Study as a cornerstone of growth. Since enrollment, Fangfang Li has consistently maintained a rigorous academic attitude, excelling in preparation, focus, and in-depth exploration of professional knowledge. She ranked first in her major for two consecutive years, earning prestigious awards such as the Provincial Government Scholarship, “Merit Student” title, “Outstanding Student,” and several special scholarships.
Broad academic horizons beyond her major. Fangfang Li extended her academic pursuits by minoring in a Micro-Specialization in Technology Transfer Management offered by the Management School, graduating with honors as one of its first graduates. She joined the Wenzhou Technology Brokers Association and was invited to feature in recruitment promotional videos, showcasing her multifaceted talents and well-rounded skills.
Excellence in Competitions. Starting from her freshman year, Fangfang Li focused on academic competitions, achieving remarkable success with nearly 50 accolades over three years, including 4 top-tier provincial awards. Last semester, she led two teams, “Shiyi Shenghua” and “Dreams Journey,” to compete in the “National College Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship Challenge”, securing Zhejiang Provincial First and Third Prizes.
The great results of the competitions definitely rely on supports and whole efforts of the team. Reflecting on the “Shiyi Shenghua” journey, Fangfang recalls the three-year evolution of their project from a VR/AR virtual simulation of the metaverse, to an app concept, and finally to a mini-program integrating intangible cultural heritage preservation, promotion, and sales. The process was fraught with challenges, but with unyielding team effort and mentor support, they succeeded. The success is based on the guidance and encourages from the instructors Chenqing Su and Mingcang Xie, and the best teammates Lanxin Yang and Yang Huang.
She said that "We didn't leave the conference room for three consecutive days, slept in the conference room at night, repeatedly polished the plan and revised the PPT, until our throat was hoarse, and we had today's results." Fangfang recalled the experience of preparing for the competition and said with emotion: "In the most difficult time, I even revised the plan while hanging salt water in the emergency room, put two chairs together every day, and lay in the conference room to rest for a while.”
Success always belongs to those teams who work hardest, and it is these difficult experiences that make Fangfang Li deeply appreciate the power of perseverance and teamwork.
Beyond competitions, Fangfang also honed her abilities in research and internships. She led a national innovation project, wrote content for the Wenzhou 'Belt and Road Initiative' project, and completed a school-level research project. During semester breaks, she earned multiple certifications, including one for international trade, and gained practical experience through four internships facilitated by the school-enterprise platform. Her multifaceted development across academics, research, and internships sets her apart as a role model for holistic growth.
Beside the efforts and diligence on her academic, Fangfang showcased exceptional leadership as a class vice-monitor, association president, party branch secretary, and student assistant. She excels in different roles. In various organizations, she not only injects vitality into the team, but also sets an example for others with practical actions, becoming a leader in organizational work among her classmates. The accumulation in the field not only improves one's overall quality, but also lays a solid foundation for a darker career stage in the future.
As a class committee member, Fangfang unites her classmates with a sincere and enthusiastic attitude, actively undertakes and conscientiously completes various student tasks, and gives full play to her leading role. She led her class to win the title of "Advanced Class" twice at the college level, and won the "Special Award for Advanced Class" once. The class was also rated as the "May 4th Red Flag League Branch" in Wenzhou City. Fangfang was also named one of the “Top Ten Monitors” and “Top Ten College Students” for her outstanding performance. These honors are not only recognition of her hard work, but also encourage her to continuously improve and surpass herself.
During her tenure as the secretary of the student party branch, Fangfang actively promoted the work of the party organization, and on this basis, she opened the brand activity of the Department of International Trade - "Party Building Leads, Science Competition Promotes Learning". Through this activity, she shared her valuable experience in the competition, and stimulated the enthusiasm of the branch students in academic competitions and scientific research innovation. Among them, the theme activity of "Party Building Pilot, Culture Casting Soul: Working Together to Draw a New Colorful Chapter" organized by her has received wide attention and has been officially reported by temperature news media. The event not only deeply disseminated the spirit of party building, but also further enhanced the social influence of the party branch, and demonstrated Fangfang's outstanding leadership in promoting party building and cultural construction. Through this series of measures, she injected new vitality into the party branch, set an example for the students, and played an important role in the construction of campus culture.
During the undergraduate evaluation period, Fangfang opened a professional society in the Department of International Trade - Wenzhou Business Digital Trade Association. Under the leadership of the instructor Saiqi Zheng, she visited the Wenzhou Import and Export Trade Association and the Clothing Wholesale Association, and signed a cooperation agreement on behalf of the society and the enterprise. Agreement to secure more internship opportunities for students majoring in international trade.
In addition, Fangfang was also invited to give a freshmen presentation to the students in the classes of 2022, 2023, and 2024, sharing her college experience and growth story. She also hopes that through her personal experience and insights, she can provide inspiration to junior students and help them better adapt to university life and plan for personal development. Through the interaction with the junior students, the positive spirit is conveyed, encouraging them to bravely pursue their dreams, improve their overall quality, have the courage to take responsibility, and achieve self-breakthroughs in all aspects. This is not only a display and sharing of her personal achievements, but also her responsibility and mission as a senior to give back to her juniors and pass on the spirit.
School is the place where dreams take off, and it is also the cradle of cultivating excellent qualities. Fangfang often mentioned that she was very grateful to Wenzhou Business College for providing her with a broad development platform. It was here that she not only gained knowledge and abilities, but also practiced the concept of "Everyone can shine as own way" with her classmates, and achieved mutual growth as an individual and as a collective in an environment of continuous efforts and mutual encouragement. She believes that every student with dreams and pursuits can find their own stage here and shine the brightest!
