On the morning of November 6, the launch ceremony of the Sino-Italian Lin-gang Innovation Cooperation Park was held at the 7th China International Import Expo.
Chen Jinshan, director of the Lin-gang Special Area Administrative Committee, attended the event. Shanghai Vice Mayor Hua Yuan and Yu Yuantang, director of the European Affairs Department at the Ministry of Commerce, gave speeches at the event.
During the event, the Lin-gang committee signed contracts with cooperating institutions such as the Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shanghai, D'Andrea & Partners Legal Counsel, and King & Wood Mallesons, as well as landing companies such as Venchi and PAMA from Italy.
The Lin-gang committee also signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Bank of China Shanghai Branch and Milan Branch on global investment promotion for "going global" in 2025.
Both sides will fully leverage the globalization advantages of the Bank of China, carry out integrated linkage at home and abroad, and actively promote the clustering of Italian enterprises in the Sino-Italian Lin-gang Innovation Cooperation Park.
Wu Xiaohua, deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee of Lin-gang Special Area, in particular, recommended Lin-gang Special Area and the Sino-Italian Lin-gang Innovation Cooperation Park.
The Lin-gang Special Area, with its unique location advantage, an institutional open system centered on "five freedoms and one convenience," and world-class advanced industrial clusters, is attracting more and more multinational enterprises to settle and develop.
"Shanghai speed and Lin-gang services" have become the new business card of the Lin-gang Special Area's business environment. The first phase of the Sino-Italian Lin-gang Innovation Cooperation Park, which was released this time, includes "three key components:" a Sino-Italian industrial cooperation service center, a debut industrial park, and an industrial expansion zone, to undertake the landing of various enterprises from Italy and Europe.
The high-quality commercial precinct, international schools, international communities, and leisure and entertainment facilities in the surrounding area provide strong support for foreign talent to live and work comfortably in Lin-gang.
