Research and applications on additive manufacturing of regenerative tissues

报告摘要

近年来意外创伤、重大疾病等造成的各种组织缺损病例急剧增长,人们渴望缺损治疗能从短寿命的器械替代发展到有生命的再生重建。本报告将从装备研制、材料开发、组织再生等方面,系统介绍团队多年来在再生型组织的增材制造研究与应用方面的工作进展,同时分享团队在增材制造异质结构组织方面的最新研究工作。

个人简介

高成德,中南大学机电工程学院/极端服役性能精准制造全国重点实验室,教授/博士生导师,入选中国科协青年人才托举工程、湖湘青年英才、湖南省优青、连续4年美国斯坦福大学全球前2%顶尖科学家榜单,中国机械工程学会增材制造技术(3D打印)分会委员、极端制造分会委员,中国有色金属学会增材制造技术专委会委员,J Func Biomater、J Cent South Univ、Research、J Magnes Alloy等SCI期刊编委或青年编委。从事激光增材制造领域的研究,主持与承担国家自然科学基金、湖南省自然科学基金等科研项目10余项,以第一/通讯作者在Int J Extreme Manuf、Addit Manuf、Virtual Phys Prototy等期刊发表SCI论文40余篇,授权专利17项,获中国金属学会冶金医学奖、湖南省自然科学奖、国家自然科学基金优秀结题项目、中国科协优秀科技论文等奖励。

3D打印可降解植入物及其医学应用

3D printing of biodegradable implants and their medical applications

报告摘要

Three-dimensional (3D) printing offers a promising approach for fabricating biodegradable scaffolds and living tissue constructs with customized architectures to facilitate the regeneration of various tissues. Here, I present our recent advancements in the field of 3D printing of biodegradable implants, focusing on their tissue-specific mechanical design, multi-scale architectures, gradient structures, and medical applications.

个人简介

Zijie Meng studied at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University from 2017 to 2023. In 2023, he was selected for the "Program for Supporting Young and Excellent Talents" at Xi'an Jiaotong University. In the same year, he joined the Frontier Institute of Science and Technology as an assistant professor. Zijie focuses on cutting-edge research in the design and manufacturing of biodegradable implants and their biological performance evaluation. He has accumulated extensive experience in implant structural design, simulation, controllable 3D printing of complex structures, and evaluation of structural/mechanical/electrical/biological properties, as well as animal experiments and clinical trials. The developed biodegradable soft tissue implants have been used in more than 30 clinical cases. His research achievements have been published in more than 25 papers in internationally renowned journals in the field of 3D printing and biofabrication, such as Nature Communications, Trends in Biotechnology, International Journal of Extreme Manufacturing, Biomaterials, Additive Manufacturing, Virtual and Physical Prototyping, Acta Biomaterialia, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, and Biofabrication.

生物3D打印,从器官模型到组织修复

3D bioprinting: From organ models to tissue repair

报告摘要

3D bioprinting refers to the use of engineering methods to achieve controllable assembly of cells in space and time. It has a wide range of application scenarios in disease model construction in vitro, drug evaluation or testing, and tissue or organ regeneration. This report focuses on the most advanced 3D bioprinting methods, including co-axial 3D bioprinting, high-precision electro writing, and projection-based bioprinting. Based on these 3D printing methods, research progress in vascularization, micro/nano structure-regulated cell growth, organoid construction, standardization of cell-carrying structures, and controllable manufacturing will be reported in details.

个人简介

Yuan Sun, Post PhD, School of Mechanical Engineering, Zhejiang University. He has published 9 SCI papers as the first author and co-author, 5 of which have IF>10, specializing in projection-based 3D bioprinting research.
