As a gift, Mark gave Danny a parrot.
Everybody loved the parrot. They wanted to teach it how to talk.
In the morning, the mother tried to teach it, “Beauty!”
But the parrot said nothing.
In the afternoon, Emma tried to teach it, “Lovely!”
But the parrot said nothing.
In the evening, Daddy tried to teach it, “Wonder!”
But the parrot still said nothing.
At night, Danny tried to teach it, “Clever!”
But once again, the parrot said nothing.
“Beauty!” “Lovely!” “Wonder!” “Clever!” they all shouted at the bird.
“Be quite!” The parrot shouted back.
All of the sudden, the whole world went silent.
