Background
Cognitive Science is a highly interdisciplinary scientific field across Computer Science, Psychology, Linguistics, Neuroscience, Philosophy, Anthropology, and Education on the study of the mind. Since 2021, CogSci Hong Kong Meetup has been an annual event bringing cognitive scientists in the region together to facilitate research exchange and collaboration, supported by the Cognitive Science Society, the largest international community on Cognitive Science. CogSci Hong Kong Meetup was hosted at HKU (2021), CityU (2022), and Chinese U (2023) in the past. This year with the support from the Japanese Cognitive Science Society and Korean Society for Cognitive Science, we are hosting it at HKUST and would like to extend our invitation to all cognitive scientists in the Asia-Pacific region as well as internationally to join our annual Meetup, with the theme on “Cognitive Science in the Era of AI”. Anyone with an interest in Cognitive Science is welcome to attend the Meetup.
