The World Museum of Peace is the only museum in the world named after the word "peace". In order to welcome the arrival of the International Children's Day on June 1st, the World Peace Art Museum solemnly launches “Children Of The World Paint Peace – June 1st International Children's Day Art Exhibition”.
The purpose of this event is to let the children sow the seeds of peace in their young hearts through the exquisite paintings of peace that they personally participate in and draw, and also to convey to the world our good wishes of opposing war and longing for peace.
Curator Chen Qianfeng said: “The world will only be beautiful when it is at peace! The meaning of this exhibition is to repaint our earth, our world, our country, our home, our life with children's hearts, through their pure lenses and naive prophecy, as well as their attitude of cherishing life by using genius graffiti and infinite imagination. And we hope to convey to the world with all those exquisite paintings: There is only one earth!”
"We are looking for the children's Picasso of our time," said Dr. Chen Dongliang, a renowned collector and honorary director of the World Peace Museum.
Honorary curator Yu Yuanbao said, “Children's painting language is the most authentic, the most valuable.”
Senior Colonel Ma Guoqi, the chief painter, the member of the Chinese Artists Association, introduced that the "Children Of the World Paint Peace" art exhibition collection educates in love and intends to bring cautions: what is the first priority of human beings? It must be to preserve and cherish peace.
