The China International Friendship Cities Conference 2024 (CIFCC 2024) was held on November 18 and 19.At the Sino-Foreign Friendship Cities Award Ceremony, the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the China International Friendship Cities Association presented the "International Friendship City Award for Outstanding Contribution" to 10 cities including Shenyang, Chengdu, Fuzhou, Harbin, Hangzhou, Hohhot, Kunming, Nanchang, Urumqi and Wuhan, in recognition of their outstanding performance in carrying out the international friendship cities work.![]()
At the parallel forum of the CIFCC 2024, the representative from Shenyang focused on the "Green Urban Development Benefiting People's Livelihood and Welfare" and made key introductions on Shenyang's vigorous construction of a northeastern-style park city, the transformation from an "excellent student" in equipment manufacturing in the industrial civilization era to a "model student" in green, low-carbon and high-quality development in the ecological civilization era, and the promotion of industrial transformation and upgrading via green, intelligent and high-end development.The representative proposed that Shenyang will keep exerting efforts in strengthening scientific and technological innovation, enhancing public participation, and deepening exchanges and cooperation in the future.
