据中央气象台消息，刚刚过去的11月上旬，为我国1961年有完整气象观测记录以来同期最暖。未来几天，偏暖仍将是主调。其中，11月12日~15日全国大部地区暖热持续加码；13日、14日，暖热将到巅峰阶段，尤其是南方气温大幅高于常年，立冬过出了立夏的感觉。
11月中旬，除了天气暖得有点抢眼，海上也过分“热闹”。据中央气象台消息，11月12日凌晨2时前后，4个台风都在编，均为热带风暴以上强度，这也是有气象记录以来11月首次真正意义上的四台风共舞。
其中，台风“银杏”巅峰强度一度达到了超强台风级，台风“桃芝”最强也达到台风级，台风“万宜”和“天兔”未来也将达到台风级或强台风级，这样的强度在11月的秋台风中并不多见。
对广西而言，需重点关注台风“桃芝”。广西气象台预计，11月12日~16日全区大部以多云天气为主，气温偏高。
17~18日，冷空气南下，全区云量进一步增多，桂西多云转阴天有小雨，桂东多云到阴天有分散小雨，桂东和沿海部分地区有5～6级偏北风，北部湾海面风力逐渐加强到5～6级、阵风7级。
受冷空气和降雨影响，17~18日，广西气温将明显下降，桂北气温下降6~8℃，局地下降10℃以上；桂南气温下降3~6℃。降温后各地气温：高寒山区6～13℃，桂北8～24℃，桂南15～29℃。
