ZWIS學子在Spelling Bee
北美城市冠軍挑戰賽中斬獲佳績
近日，廣州市中黃港澳子弟學校傳來又一喜訊，ZWIS三位優秀學子在Spelling Bee 北美城市冠軍挑戰賽（NORTH AMERICA SPELLING CHAMPION CHALLENGE)中大放異彩，其中，G6辛安迪（Andrew）與陶志豪（Eli）同學榮獲小學高級組傑出榮譽獎，G7李康傳(Alan)同學則摘得初中組傑出榮譽獎。
這一成就不僅是對ZWIS學子語言能力的認可，也彰顯了學校語言教學的卓越成果。
Recently, another good news came from ZWIS, three outstanding students from ZWIS made a great achievement in the NORTH AMERICA SPELLING CHAMPION CHALLENGE, Andrew XIN and Eli TAO from G6 successfully entered the Distinction Honour Roll of the Primary School Advanced Group, and G7 Lee Kang Chuan (Alan) entered the Distinction Honour Roll of the Middle School Group. Their achievement not only recognises the language ability of ZWIS students, but also highlights the excellence of the school's language education.

關于Spelling Bee北美城市冠軍挑戰賽（NASCC）
About NASCC
始于1925年，被譽為【英語屆的奧林匹克競賽】，作為目前世界公認曆史最悠久，影響力最大的英文拼詞競賽活動，Spelling Bee吸引著5大洲、100多個國家、3000多萬名選手每年參與其中。Spelling Bee不僅是一項國際化賽事，更可以讓中國青少年具備全球視野、全球思維以及社會責任感和使命感，成為世界的領袖。賽事以其高難度、廣覆蓋的詞彙挑戰吸引了全球衆多精英學子參與。
我校學子遠渡重洋前往美國參賽，在如此激烈的競爭中脫穎而出，離不開他們自身的努力與堅持，更離不開學校指導老師們的精心栽培與悉心指導。從詞彙積累到發音訓練，老師們全程陪伴，為學子們提供了堅實的後盾。
Started in 1925, Spelling Bee is known as "The Olympics of English", as the world's oldest and most influential English Spelling Competition, Spelling Bee attracts more than 30 million contestants from 5 continents and 100 countries to participate in it every year. Spelling Bee is not only an international event, but also enables Chinese youth to become world leaders with a global perspective, a global mindset, and a sense of social responsibility and mission. Spelling Bee has attracted many elite students from all over the world to participate in the competition because of its high level of difficulty and extensive vocabulary challenges. Our students travelled to the United States to participate in the competition and stood out from the crowd because of their own hard work and perseverance, but also because of the careful cultivation and guidance of the school's instructors. From vocabulary accumulation to pronunciation training, from psychological counselling to strategy development, the teachers accompanied the students throughout the whole process, providing them with a solid backing.

此次獲獎，不僅是對學子個人能力的認可，更是對學校教學質量與教育理念的一次有力證明。它展示了ZWIS在培養學生語言能力、邏輯思維及心理素質方面的顯著成效。
同時，這一榮譽也將激勵更多學子追求卓越，勇于挑戰自我，為學校的榮譽添磚加瓦。
The award is not only a recognition of the students' individual abilities, but also a strong proof of the school's teaching quality and educational philosophy. It demonstrates the remarkable effectiveness of ZWIS in cultivating students' language ability, logical thinking and psychological quality. At the same time, this honour will also inspire more students to pursue excellence and challenge themselves, adding to the school's honour.

ZWIS一直致力于培養學生的全球勝任力，學校實行“三文四語”（兩文三語+第二外語），重視培養學生的多語言能力，致力于為每一位學子提供浸潤式的語言教學環境，除NASCC外，我們的學生還曾在英國伯明翰大學杯、國際青少年中文寫作大賽等賽事中取得優秀的成績。
本次獲獎僅是ZWIS衆多語言教學成果的其中一枚，相信在未來，ZWIS學子能夠繼續在國際舞台上發光發亮，綻放更加璀璨的光芒！
ZWIS has always been committed to fostering students' global competence. The school implements the "Triliteracy and Quadrilingualism" (two languages, three languages and a second foreign language), emphasises the development of students' multilingual abilities, and is committed to providing each student with an immersion-type language teaching and learning environment. In addition to NASCC, our students have also excelled in competitions such as the University of Birmingham Cup and the Global Chinese Writing Competition for Youth. This award is just one of the many language teaching achievements of ZWIS, and we believe that in the future, ZWIS students will continue to shine in the international arena, and blossom even more brightly!
