因此，对于想要参加本次新人联赛的新社员，我们只有一个要求：相信自己——相信自己能够让身体与思想变得更加健全的可能性，相信飞盘这项运动能够将这些可能性一一实现的魔力，以及相信我们想要通过这次新人联赛将当初飞盘带给我们的快乐和感动传递给大家的决心。

Therefore, for new members who want to participate in this Rookie League, all we ask is that you believe in yourself. Believe in the power of frisbee to make you a better person. And believe in us to help you discover the joy and passion that comes with playing this amazing sport.

  “ 小时候觉得飞盘只是个普通的玩具，飞出去之后让同伴扔回来就是了，似乎没有特别多的新意。但如今意识到，飞盘不再只是一个普通的玩具，它也可以是一支队伍的象征，也承载着飞盘爱好者们团结、合作、共同进步的飞盘精神。”

“As a child, I thought a frisbee was just a simple toy. You’d throw it and your friend would throw it back, and that was it. But now I realize that a frisbee is more than just a toy. It can be a symbol of a team, and it carries the spirit of ultimate frisbee players: unity, cooperation, and mutual progress.”

放松手腕，传出一个平稳旋转的好盘，看准时机，把迎面而来的飞盘牢牢抓住，飞盘就是这样一个只是你传我接就很好玩的运动。但是毕竟在平静安稳的日常之外，或多或少还存在着一些来自内心深处的渴望：去跑，去跳，去发现更多的可能，去看到更多的风景，以及最重要的——去成为更好的自己。加上极限二字，飞盘这项运动也得以被赋予更加深刻的内涵和重要的精神。绝非只是玩具，更不仅是消遣，而是确实严肃的竞技体育。

Relax your wrist, release a smooth spinning disc, then catch it firmly when it comes flying back—this is the simple joy of frisbee: just throw and catch. Yet, beyond the simple throw-and-catch, there are always deeper desires within: to run, to jump, to discover new possibilities, and to become a better version of ourselves. By adding the word “ultimate”, this sport has been given a deeper meaning: it’s not just a pastime; it’s a serious competitive sport that challenges both body and mind.

“但Crazy Saints也有這樣的魔力，讓人心甘情願地、不僅僅是爲了對飛盤本身的熱愛或得分的喜悅，也是爲了別的什麽東西，留下來。此次之後，會有多少人選擇悄悄離開？又會有多少選擇留下，交予自己的一年、兩年、三年？在上海郊野令人瞠目的風將飛起的盤吹至意料之外的隊員手裏、邊綫爆發出歡呼的時刻，我想，我們選擇了Crazy Saints，亦同時被Crazy Saints選中。”

“But Crazy Saints possesses a certain magic that transcends the game itself. It’s a place where people are drawn to something deeper, a connection that goes beyond the sport. After each season, some depart, while others find themselves drawn deeper into this unique community. In those moments when the fierce winds of the Shanghai outskirts blow the frisbee into a teammate’s hands and the sidelines erupt with cheers, I think to myself, we chose Crazy Saints, and Crazy Saints chose us.”         

回看过去一年加入Crazy Saints以来的种种，失意与落寞的时刻不在少数：因为手腕僵硬与进步缓慢而在独自练盘的夜晚挫败，因为没法上场帮助队伍而在比赛结束的归途迷茫，因为对我万分照顾的前辈们一一离开、自己却对此无能为力而感到伤感。每当我陷入迷茫，我都会问自己：如果一直学不会正手，是不是应该考虑放弃飞盘这项运动？如果一直没机会上场，是不是应该退出Crazy Saints这支队伍？如果想要并肩作战的人们都已经不在了，那么继续留在这里的意义何在？

而每一次，闭上眼睛后脑海里浮现的过往瞬间，都会让我明白地知道，选择从来只有一个：不要逃避，直面自己，坚持内心所爱的和所相信的——不能辜负飞盘带给我的快乐和感动，不能辜负前辈对我的照顾和期待，以及最重要的——Crazy Saints历经十五个春秋传承至今的理想与存在着无限可能的未来。

Every time I close my eyes and the past moments float in my mind, I clearly understand that there is only one choice: do not escape, face myself, and persist in what I love and believe in — I cannot betray the joy and inspiration that frisbee has given me, I cannot betray the care and expectations of my seniors, and most importantly — the ideals of Crazy Saints, which have been passed down through fifteen springs and autumns, and the future filled with infinite possibilities.

等待狂圣，是本次新人联赛的主题。我们相信飞盘会将那些与其有缘的人们相聚到一起，让他们经历只关于彼此的回忆，让他们书写独属于自己的故事。

"Waiting for Crazy Saints" is the theme of this year's rookie tournament. We believe that frisbee will bring together those who are destined to meet, allowing them to experience memories that are solely about each other, and enabling them to write their own unique stories.

在本次新人联赛中，我们希望给大家关于极限飞盘比赛的完整体验。考虑到大家对于极限飞盘这一运动普遍尚浅的理解和经验，我们计划在前两周进行分队模拟友谊赛，并在其中设置不同于传统的创新赛制，让大家能够在一个相对轻松、没有压力的氛围当中体验极限飞盘比赛的乐趣所在。与此同时，在日常的物草南操约盘以外，我们也会在周中活动中加入对于比赛原理和跑位战术等进阶内容的教学，具体的时间地点届时会在大群内及本公众号上发布。在通过两周的模拟友谊赛让大家对极限飞盘比赛形成初步的认知过后，我们会组织想要进一步体验竞技性质比赛的新社员们进行为期三周的新人联赛。

Therefore, through this Rookie League, we aim to provide everyone with a complete experience of an ultimate frisbee competition. Considering that most of you are relatively new to this sport, Recognizing that many of you are relatively new to the sport and may have limited experience, we plan to start with two weeks of friendly scrimmages, where we’ll introduce innovative rules that differ from traditional ones. This will allow you to enjoy the fun of ultimate frisbee in a relaxed, pressure-free environment. Additionally, aside from our usual casual games at physics lawn (Handan), sports field (South Residential Area), we’ll also include advanced lessons on game strategy and positioning tactics during midweek activities. Details of these sessions will be announced in the WeChat group and on our official WeChat account.

此次新人联赛将于10-11月举行，具体的赛程安排会在联赛开启后的公众号推送及新人联赛大群中通知，而赛制将综合前两周模拟友谊赛过后收集来自新社员们的意见和反馈与最终报名联赛的人数和性别比例进行确定。毕竟这是属于你们的比赛，我们老社员所要做的只有尽可能帮助你们得到好的体验，而来自新社员们一切的意见和想法，在个社团里都应该得到全部的理解与尊重。

The upcoming rookie league will be held in October and November. The specific schedule for Rookie League will be announced via our official WeChat account and in the WeChat group. The game format will be determined based on the feedback and suggestions during the first two weeks of scrimmages, as well as the final number of participants and the gender ratio. After all, this is your league. As senior members, our role is to help you have a great experience. Every opinion and idea from you will be fully understood and respected.
