House” in this edition of event, which is the largest and most complete
in architecture, design and landscaping in Latin America and takes place
from May 21st to 28th July, at Conjunto Nacional, on Avenida Paulista.
Avenida
Paulista 的 Conjunto Nacional 举行。
The
theme of this year is – “From present, the now”, Barbara connected with
Taoism, a philosophical tradition whose theory is Tao, a chinese word
that can mean “path” or “method”, giving name to the space to be the
pillar of the project. Following this concept, the environment seeks to
highlight and understand the universe, nature and the constancy of
transformation cycles.
In space, intense flows can be welcomed by the density of matter,
allowing consciousness to synchronize with shapes, colors, rhythms and
textures to access, experience, process and internalize memories of
present, past and future times. In the environment, the strength of
ancestry and the future is recognized by integrating the traditions of
artisanal work with contemporary technologies that jointly and
profoundly transform raw materials, integrating to achieve the ephemeral
beauty of the present moment. In the ancient times of humanity we
discovered a wealth of wisdom and practices that have stood the test of
time, and even in a digital world, these legacies are essential parts of
who we are, shaping our worldview and inspiring our deepest creations. Visiting the past, we can find value and poetry to understand the
concept of simplicity with new eyes. We analyze sculptures made of wood,
brick, earth, stones and glass, fragments of architecture and materials
used by man, shaped by him to the rhythm of our breathing. Breathing is
the very integration of life, the breath that lives in all beings and
in all of nature, connecting us in a universal tune. It is an essential
and constant process, and can be celebrated as a creative link that
allows you to give shape and life to some materials. We know that, in this process of giving life to our space, the breath
of each person involved in this artisanal cycle also contributed to the
uniqueness that characterizes Tao House. It transforms every detail into
a connected whole", says Barbara.
With
62m², “TAO House” has a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and living room.
Right at the entrance, the visitor is impacted by the highlight of the
environment: a tree, creating a paradigm of connection with what is
primitive and brings a feeling of breath and relief, generating comfort
and well-being, developing a ritual of appreciation what is common and
essential, effectively a gift, the clear symbolism of the root of what
is ancestral.“TAO
The
surfaces at entrance to the room, as the porch, around the tree and on
the extensive wall behind the sofa in the living room, covered with
Formica solution: the Formiwall, in Steel Silver, which brings a brushed
steel effect, in line with the trend of metallic tones in the project.
On the floor, the Lepri brick covering matches artisanal and
technological details to provide comfort and naturalness to the space.
The touch of the versatile Tear Guanabara rug, by Kamy, customized
especially for “Tao House”, contributes to the elegance of the
environment.
