On September 5th, the German Energy Center & College (GECC), located within the German Centre Shanghai, successfully hosted the “Seminar on Sino-German ESG Practice.” This event gathered ESG experts from China and Germany to share experiences and explore the future of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices through bilateral cooperation.
该研讨会与德国能源署（dena）、同济大学和绿色可持续建筑共同组织，强调了两国共同推进ESG标准的承诺。德国发言人强调了德国在提高透明度方面的长期努力，通过健全的信息披露标准和开发影响评估方法。德国公司正以身作则，努力实现净零排放，并在价值链中协作应对更广泛的社会和环境挑战。
The seminar, co-organized with the German Energy Agency (dena), Tongji University, and Sustainable Green Construction, underscored the mutual commitment of both countries to advancing ESG standards. German speakers highlighted Germany’s long-standing efforts in improving transparency through robust information disclosure standards and developing impact assessment methods. German companies are leading by example, striving for net-zero emissions and working collaboratively across their value chains to address broader social and environmental challenges.
