国泰航空宣布，自2025年1月起，其航班数量将恢复至疫情前的水平，达到100%。这一消息表明，在11月28日香港国际机场启用第三跑道系统后，该公司对香港航空业的未来发展持乐观态度。

国泰航空表示：“我们非常荣幸能够支持本土枢纽——香港国际机场的持续增长与发展。从2025年1月开始，集团旗下所有航空公司提供的服务量将恢复到新冠疫情爆发前的状态。”此外，该公司还承诺将继续增加航线覆盖范围及目的地数量，以满足乘客日益增长的需求。
根据计划，到2025年时，国泰集团预计将在全球超过100个城市开展客运业务，这对于整个集团而言无疑是一个重要里程碑。作为香港地区最具代表性的航空公司之一，国泰始终致力于推动本地经济和社会进步。
“未来七年内，我们将投入逾千亿港元（约合128.5亿美元）用于各项基础设施建设和技术升级。”国泰方面强调道。这笔巨额投资将涵盖采购新一代客机、引进世界级客舱设计与休息室设施等方面，并且还将加强公司在数字化转型与环境保护领域的领先地位。
通过这些举措，旨在全面提升旅客舒适度的同时促进货运能力的增长，从而进一步巩固香港作为世界级航空中心的地位。

Cathay Pacific said 100% of its pre-pandemic flights will be reached from January 2025 as it signalled continued optimism about the future of Hong Kong aviation after the hub commissioned its Three-Runway System on November 28.
The Hong Kong flag carrier noted that the commissioning of the Three-Runway System (3RS) at the Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) will mark a "new phase" of growth and development for the Hong Kong international aviation hub.
"Cathay is proud to support the continued development of its home hub, with the Group’s airlines reaching 100% of pre-pandemic flights from January 2025," the carrier said, adding that together, Cathay Pacific and HK Express will continue to add more flights and destinations for their customers.
The two airlines plan to operate passenger services to 100 destinations worldwide by 2025, a meaningful milestone for the Cathay Group.
As Hong Kong’s flagship airline group, Cathay said it is firmly committed to the city’s long-term growth and development.
"This is exemplified by the Group’s commitment of more than HK$100 billion (US$12.85 billion) in investments over the next seven years," it added.
Cathay said the investment includes orders for more than 100 new-generation aircraft, world-leading cabin interiors and lounges, as well as digital and sustainability leadership — reflecting its commitment to boost air travel and cargo capacity and strengthen the Hong Kong international aviation hub.
"The introduction of the Three-Runway System will be a landmark moment for Hong Kong, one that ushers in a new era of possibilities for our home hub and its aviation industry. On behalf of Cathay, I would like to congratulate the Hong Kong SAR Government and the Airport Authority Hong Kong for this significant achievement," said Ronald Lam, chief executive officer of the Cathay Group.
"I am particularly pleased that the successful completion of Cathay's rebuild coincides with the opening of the Three-Runway System. We can now truly put the pandemic behind us and firmly focus on the future."
"Our confidence in the long-term prospects of our home hub is as resolute as ever.
