Pofengling is located in Zhoukoudian Town, Fangshan District, Beijing, where a large number of Smoke Trees grow. 

Climbing to the Autumn Wind Pavilion along the winding stone path, you can see the beautiful scenery of the Pofeng Ridge from up high. Especially in the autumn, the leaves of the Smoke Trees cluster into a mountain of red leaves. It is very beautiful.

Pofengling

Pofengling is located 3km northwest of huangshandian village, Zhoukoudian Town, Fangshan District, southwest of Beijing, adjacent to yuxu palace in baojinshan, Beijing. Since 2009, a 6000 meter long mountain road has been built from a barren mountain. All materials are made of local rocks, while sand and cement are carried to the mountain by manpower. It can be said that today's 6000m mountain road came into being after many hardships.

At the beginning of pofengling, persimmon, walnut, peach, apricot and poplar are distributed, accompanied by wild jujube, wild pear and wild chrysanthemum. On both sides of the winding path, the natural tall Cotinus coggygria is the most important, accompanied by Mayu, maquanzi, ziziziphus jujuba, Vitex and so on. On the high slope, tall Cotinus coggygria, Koelreuteria Koelreuteria and poplar trees are densely distributed, which is a holy land for rest and relaxation. Among them, there are seven or eight varieties and tens of thousands of red leaves, such as Acer truncatum, Cotinus coggygria and torch. An overview of the scenic spot is a good choice for spring outing and flower viewing, summer summer cool, autumn mountain red leaves and winter snow.

Red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple, who holds the color to practice dancing in the sky? Compared with the red leaves of Xiangshan, the red leaves of pofengling have a different feeling. If Xiangshan Mountain in late autumn is "red in all mountains, dyed by layers of forest", then pofengling mountain is "the middle reaches of red leaves and green, dancing in the air with color training". Red, yellow, green, pink, black, and blue sky and white clouds complement each other. From a distance, it looks like a sea of flowing colors with color training flying in the air.
