蝉鸣聒噪的夏日，微风吹动金黄色的稻田，我捧着碗，舔舐嘴边点点米粒。我们未曾看见，那躬耕在田畴间的身影——稻田里的“守望者”袁隆平。
Cicadas chirping in the summer, the breeze blowing golden rice fields, I hold the bowl, lick a little grain of rice which stuck to the mouth. We have not seen, the figure that ploughed in the field between the domains - the "catcher"in the rice field ,Yuan Longping.
他是中国杂交水稻育种专家、中国工程院院士、“共和国勋章”获得者，被誉为“世界杂交水稻之父”。1964年，袁隆平开始研究杂交水稻，几十年如一日。他淡泊名利，无畏艰难，为解决中国人的吃饭问题作出了重大贡献，影响了整个世界，无愧为“当代神农氏”。
He is a Chinese hybrid rice breeding expert, academician of the Chinese Acade my of Engineering, winner of the "Medal of the Republic", known as the "Father of the world hybrid rice". In 1964, Yuan Longping began to study hybrid rice, which lasted for decades. He is indifferent to fame and wealth, fearless of difficulties,.To solve the problem of Chinese people's eating ,he has made a significant contribution, affecting the whole world, well deserved as "contemporary Shennong's".
“人就像一粒种子，要做一粒好种子。”袁隆平用一粒种子改变了世界，而他本人就是一粒卓越的种子。“禾下乘凉梦”“杂交水稻覆盖全球的梦”，袁隆平用一生去追求、去奋斗、去耕耘，在他最热爱、最熟悉的田地里结出了丰硕的果实。杂交水稻技术的研究、应用与推广，成为袁隆平毕生的志业。今天人们诉不完的怀念、道不尽的哀思，正是因为他穷尽毕生精力，让14亿中国人乃至世界人民远离饥饿。
我们都要像袁隆平一样做一粒好种子，将个人梦融入中国梦，在祖国的大地上生根发芽、培养浇灌，在平凡的岗位上执着坚守，在自己的领域里创造成绩，不负伟大时代，开拓伟大事业。
