Class begins! Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Today we are going to have an English lesson together. I’m really happy for that. First of all, let’s have a brief introduction about my self. My name is Zhouxue. I come from... They are my students. Actually, we they heard that I would go on a business, they were really excited and curious. So they made a phone call to me. I really want you guys to hear my students’ voice. So I recorded this phone call. Let’s hear it together...教师播放音频。

My students have some questions for you. Would you like to answer their questions? It's so nice of you. Let's check their questions. This is my student, she is a beautiful girl called... let's check her questions.

Hello, students in ... senior high. What's your school schedule? Okay, who wants to answer this question? It's a busy schedule, so are you tired? No, that's nice of you. But I believe you know high school is a period in which you may have a lot of hard work right? But I believe this hard work will pay off in your future. Okay, good, thank you. Let's go on. Are you fond of English learning? Okay, any volunteers for this question? Yes, please. When you get good grades in English, you are really happy, so you are fond of English learning? It is a kind of sense of achievement, right? Okay, very good, thank you, sit down, please. Okay, let's move on. I have some problems in English learning, could you help me solve the problems? Wow, my student has some problems in English learning, so could you please help her solve the problem? Okay, that sounds good. Let's check what her problem is. Here is my partner's weekend plan, but I'm really confused about his expressions, I can't figure out what's his exact plan. Can you help me work on it.    

Hu Xingyue just can't figure out her partners’ weekend traveling plan, so are you ready for her challenge. Let me check her partner's weekend traveling plan. This is Hu her partners’ weekend traveling plan and here, we have two assignments. First one is please help to analyze his exact plan according to this chart and the second is find the sentences that include the information above. Are you clear? so you can just do it by yourself and I will give you two minutes to finish these assignments. Just begin your assignment.    

OK, sorry to interrupt you but have you got the answers. Let's check the answers, okay. Everybody, just look at the screen... good job and let's come to assignment two. Find the sentences that include the information above, so give me some sentences. For example, which sentences give the clue of time...the sentence of destination... read the sentence that remind you of the destination. Okay, next one, departure time, please. Which sentence? ... Let's go on lunch, the sentence that reminds you of lunch, please.

So, boys and girls, just look at the screen, the sentences with a red line are our today's target language and I just put it here. You know what is target, it means aim, so you know what is target language. Just try to explain it in Chinese, okay. So based on the target language, we have the following learning objectives today.    

So we can achieve this together after the class and let's just try to select one sentence from the target language. Let's check this one. My friends and I are going to that new forest park and here I have two questions. First one, can you give the negative and question form of this sentence structure? You know what is negative form in Chinese?否定形式, yes and what about question form? 疑问形式,very good so think about it. First one, negative form, who wants to try negative form of the sentence structure?

Okay, very good, that boy... let's continue the question. How about the question form?

Very good answers, so please boys and girls just look at the blackboard here. We have the negative form of this sentence structure and here we have the question form of the sentence structure. Let's come to the original sentence. Can you tell me what's the form of original sentence. Maybe we have this word, positive form, in Chinese肯定形式. Am I right?So here we have the positive form, the negative form and the question form of this sentence structure.    

Let's come to this question. What does the sentence express here? I will use some concept questions. Trying to answer my concept questions with yes or no. Am I clear?

The first one, will they go to the park on Saturday? Okay, next one, have they already arranged the plan?.. so everybody just look at the screen.

Actually, we previously learned the form of be doing maybe in your junior high school. Just think about it. What does the film be doing mean? When you previously learned it in your junior high school, it means the past present or future? For example, I'm doing my homework right now, so when you previously learned it in your junior high school, what does the form be doing mean? It means past, present or future? Present, very good, but in our today's class, look at the sentence, my friends and I are going to that new forest park. What does the form be doing mean? Past, present or future? Future and let's add something to it. Future what? Future plan. Very good, so this is the meaning of the form be doing in our today's class. Okay, now, let's select another sentence from our target language. Here, we have two sentences. I want to make some explanations. You can see that in these two sentences, the verb are different. One is going and one is meeting. You know words like go, come and live, there are words that indicate changes of locations, right? For example, I'm going, I'm leaving, but meet, this kind of verb doesn't indicate changes of locations, so we call this kind of verb motion verb, in Chinese, 位移动词. And this kind of verb, we call it非位移动词.    

So everybody, just look at the two sentences, my question is what's the difference in this sentence structure when you are using motion verb and non-motion verb? Very good. Please pay attention to that when you are using this kind of sentence structure to make sentences, if your verb is a non-motion verb, please add a specific temporal adverbial to avoid ambiguity. Let's continue. This is my student...and let's check what her problem is. She is working on her own weekend traveling plan, but she met some problems, so would you like to help her? That sounds good. Okay, this is her beginning of her traveling plan.   

So just try to brainstorm three sentences using the sentence structure you have learned to complete her weekend plan, but before that I want to introduce something about Panjin, which is my hometown.

Okay, Panjin is a small city but it is really beautiful

and there are many sports in Panjin, one of the most famous is red beach in Chinese we call it 红海滩. You can see red crowned crane on the red beach. Rice in Panjin is really famous because it is more rich in sugar content so it tastes sweet and delicious. If you go to Panjin in October, you can eat crabs and we also have a race museum in Panjin but it is very special, because it is both rice museum and a restaurant so you can eat rice porridge with the crabs in our rice museum. Also there is a river winding  through Panjing called Liaohe and you can just stand on the bank of Liaohe and enjoy the city night, so these are all your materials for you to complete her traveling plan.  

But before that, I want to make some rules.

Okay, actually, yesterday, we just divided you into groups and every two groups just form a cooperation group. Please look at the screen, we need representatives from each group to go to your cooperation group to exchange your ideas and others just evaluate their sentences according to this evaluation chart and then we will have two representatives from the cooperation group to show their work. Okay, am I clear? You can just stand up and discuss it with your partners. Okay, let's start this assignment. Try to find your partners in the discuss system and write something.  

OK, I m sorry to interrupt you but have you finished. Okay, if you finished, you can just take your seats, and now let's invite some students to show their cooperation groups work...

She is curious about your traveling plan on weekend. Boys and girls, this is my first time that I have come to Chongqing and I'm really curious about this beautiful city. So I'm wondering if you are going out on weekend in Chongqing, what kind of places will you choose? So can you just write your own traveling plan on weekend in Chongqing?  It may be that is very helpful foe me. Now, you can just write something about your weekend traveling plan in Chongqing in your group. And discuss it with your partners and invite your partners to correct your sentences...

Just take your seats and now is your time, please show me your weekend traveling plan in Chongqing. And I will refer to your traveling plan because I'm new in Chongqing. Who wants to show?...Thank you, very good and just please come back to your seat.

We just make some sentences and actually these sentences are very basic, very easy forms. Maybe you are worried that the sentences is too basic or too easy to satisfy your requirements in your examination but it doesn't matter. English is a kind of language and the most important function of the language is that you can use it, so it doesn't matter you just can't write some easy and basic sentences. I mean if you are using it continuously, you will surely make progress in this process. Okay, you can just give your traveling plan in Chongqing to me and I will bring it to my students in Panjin.

Now, think about it, do you know other forms that express future? Have you ever learned any other forms that express future?    

Will do and be going to do, very good, but because this is not what we are learning today, so you can think about it after class and I will make no more explanation about this part, because this is one of your homework.

Now, my question is what have we learned in this class?...学生总结,教师板书。Boys and girls, look at the blackboard, we have a train on the blackboard, right? In this class, the train leads us to study something about the form be doing, expressing the future plan so here I will give the train a name, it's called future train, I hope the train can lead you to a lot of places.
