近日，桂平市公安局警员在街头处置一起疯牛乱窜伤人事件中，果断出击，及时将疯牛击毙，有效防止了更大范围的伤人事件发生。

11月7日下午5时左右，桂平市公安局交警大队城区中队辅警黄思源和覃江桦在该路段巡逻时，发现一名老人倒在地上，面露痛苦的表情，周围围观了许多群众。经过现场了解，得知刚才一头强壮的疯牛撞上了这位正在骑行的老人。在撞倒老人后，疯牛还在这个街区来回左窜右跳，令路人惊恐不已。
“出行安全靠大家，管束动物要注意。”桂平警方指出，牛、狗等体型较大的动物在闹市区活动，容易发生伤人事件，在伤人事件发生后，管理人员还需承担一定的法律责任。所以，管理人员要切实加强管束意识，负起相应的管理责任，切勿因疏忽大意导致动物乱跑、乱窜而发生伤人事故，防止因此造成不必要的经济损失以及付出法律代价。
