皮村是处于北京边缘的一个城中村，那里生活着许多的外来务工人员，他们的生活由日复一日的劳作和五环之外的昼夜构成。对于皮村工人文学小组的成员——胡小海和施洪丽来说，夜晚是仰望明月、做美梦的好机会。
The life of migrant workers in Picun - a village on the far edge of Beijing - is one of labour and long days beyond the Fifth Ring Road. For Hu Xiaohai and Shi Hongli, members of the grassroots Picun Workers Literary Group, the night offers a chance to look up to the moon moon and dream.

The word I've chosen to describe my experience with the Looking China program is "meaningful." I believe that the opportunity to come and explore a part of China through the eyes of a foreigner is truly meaningful. Exploring the beautiful village of Picun has been a particularly special experience for me. Interacting with the literary group in Picun and meeting the people there has truly made me feel connected to the people here in China.
我选择用“有意义”来描述我参加“看中国”项目的经历。我觉得，作为外国人有机会深入了解中国的一部分，这种体验非常有意义。尤其是能够探索美丽的皮村，这让我感到非常特别。能够观察皮村的文学小组，与那里的人们交流，让我感到与中国这片土地上的人们有着深刻的联系。

我的关键词是可能性，这个词有着多重解读空间。一方面，在拍摄过程中，我们经历了一周多的时间。在这期间，我们遇到了许多计划之外的事情，这些有的是困难，有的是意外，有的是采访对象带给我们的惊喜。另一方面，参与“看中国”项目让我有机会通过我的外国伙伴们的视角重新观察世界。特别是在我们选择的皮村这个主题中，我得以观察到北京这座城市中不同的群体，他们生活在城市的边缘，拥有自己的生活。这一切都让我看到了一个更广阔、充满可能性的世界。
My keyword is possibility.This term can be interpreted in many ways. On one hand, during our filming process, which lasted over a week, we encountered numerous events that were beyond our plans, which could be difficulties, surprises, or unexpected joys brought to us by our interview subjects. On the other hand, participating in the Looking China program has allowed me to see the world anew through the eyes of my foreign friends. Especially within our chosen topic of Picun, I have been able to observe different groups in Beijing, this city, living on the margins and having their own lives. I believe they all show me a larger and more promising world full of possibilities.
