【Daqing Drilling Company was established】
On November 1st, the founding meeting of Daqing Drilling Engineering Co., Ltd. was held. Since the specialized restructuring symposium of Daqing Drilling was held in March 2024, China Petroleum Group has initiated the restructuring work of Daqing Drilling. Detach and restructure Daqing Drilling from Daqing Oilfield, and transfer it to the China Petroleum Engineering sector, under the management of China Petroleum Technical Service. Daqing Drilling has also been upgraded from a deputy bureau level unit to a bureau level unit.

【Oil field breaks record for fastest completion of drilling】
On October 22nd, good news came from Fuman Oilfield, the largest ultra deep oil field in China. The Manshen 7-H7 well was successfully drilled in 82.44 days, with a total depth of 8821 meters, 76.56 days ahead of the design cycle and a speed increase of 48.25%, breaking the record for the fastest completion of a 8500 meter deep well on land in China.
【The latest fracturing technology in Changqing Oilfield has achieved complete success】
Recently, after upgrading the equipment, wide particle size wet sand fracturing (referred to as "wet sand") has been put into production and application on the shale oil fracturing platform of Longdong Oil and Gas Development Branch in Changqing Oilfield. Compared to the widely used quartz sand currently, it can save costs of about 120 yuan per cubic meter, which plays an important role in reducing costs and increasing efficiency in Changqing Oilfield.

In recent days, the seismic exploration work in Northwest Oilfield has achieved fruitful results: the "Multi parameter Joint Description Technology Research on Well Seismic in Ultra Deep Carbonate Oil and Gas Reservoirs" project led by Northwest Oilfield has been appraised by Sinopec's scientific and technological achievements, and has reached the leading level in China as a whole; The project "Quantitative Description Technology and Application of Ultra deep Fault controlled Fracture Cave Reservoir" won the second prize of Scientific and Technological Progress Award from the Chinese Geophysical Society; Deepen the integration of earthquake acquisition, processing, and interpretation operations.
【The first application of high sulfur gas well wellbore visualization detection at home and abroad】
Recently, Zhengyuan Well Imaging has established a deep cooperation relationship with the technical team related to Puguang Gas Field, successfully applying the "high sulfur wellbore visualization detection technology" to the monitoring of sulfur deposition in the wellbore of Maoba 502-1 in Puguang Gas Field, and achieving significant results. This is the first time in the logging operation of high sulfur gas wells in China, filling the technological gap and paving a new path for the visualization logging operation of complex high sulfur oil and gas wells in China.
